I have had surgery on both eyes. Initially I was apprehensive about the procedure My brother had reassured me all would be fine. It was as he said no as bad as a visit to the dentist. Staff were friendly and willing to partake in my nervous banter.

Both the initial assessment and the follow up surgery( only 48 hours apart) were conducted swiftly and professionally. Most impressive

Was referred to SpaMedica by my optician for cataract surgery, I was extremely pleased on how I was taken care of throughout the whole journey from my assessment to operation and aftercare instructions. On the day of my surgery I was very nervous and anxious, I needn't have been because all the staff looked after me very well and the surgery didn't take long at all and could not feel anything. If I need to go back for my other eye doing then I will not worry about it at all. Thank you all at Spamedica at Chapel town for everything I can already tell what a difference this has made to my sight.

Amazing support given by the staff at the Bexhill Spa Medica today for my first cataract surgery. Everybody cheerful polite and couldn’t have received better care if I’d have wanted it. Thanks a million

My experience from first contact to operation was 100% positive. All of the staff were very welcoming, kind and knowledge, very helpful and supportive. I was extremely anxious on the day of the op and was overwhelmed. Every member of staff that I came into contact with treated me with respect and patience; constantly reassuring me. The operation itself was straightforward and quick and every care was given. If I need to have a cataract removed from my other eye I would definitely choose to return to SpaMedica in Stockton- on-Tees. Great modern facility with outstanding staff. Easy to drive to with plenty of parking spaces.

I was contacted for treatment, after only a few days after a referral. The practice is easy to find, and the facilities, and clerical and medical staff are professional, and excellent. There are free water and hot drinks available. The staff made me feel comfortable, and the treatment was quick, and very professional. Would recomment to everyone. Christine.

Was looked after brilliantly from reception to theatre I was apprehensive about the operation but never felt any discomfort or pain. The surgeon was friendly and put me at ease. It was an experience to see beautiful colours and lights during the operation. Am writing this the day after and have no soreness in my eye and my sight is nearly back to normal already. Many thanks to all.

Everyone caring and friendly and made u feel comfortable. I was really anxious as had to make my own way there on 2 buses. I was really scared and frightened but tired not to be. Got myself a drink and biscuit and shortly after I was called. The procedure was explained to me and made me feel more at ease. Even though met patients that had problems with procedure. Which can make u unsettled.
