I was meet at reception by a lovely lady,I was very anxious and she made me feel much more relaxed with words of encouragement about my surgery. I felt so much better and I would like to thank her for her support, as I was there by myself, and coming back to reception she was there to ring for my lift home and offered me a cup of tea.

Had an appointment at CHEC. The staff were very polite. I was a short time in the waiting area before being invited in for my test. The member of staff explained everything thoroughly beforehand and made me feel at ease. In all a very pleasant experience.

Referred by optician approximately 6 weeks ago and had operation today ! Absolutely painless but slight discomfort but nothing to worry about. My thanks to all at CHEC (Stevenage).

Ist visit and no real idea what the issue was or what would happen. Pre visit details all clear and site located easily - clearly signed. Made to feel welcome by the reception team offered coffee and shown to waiting room. Only waiting for a very short time before seeing the optical assistant who was calm reassuring and explained what was required. Felt throughout as though I was valued and that the appointment was about me and not just a process. Great staff and a great attitude which meant that my initial fears concerns or anxieties were quickly dispelled. My only negative observation is that within days I received a text asking me to make an appointment when I had already booked one and attended it.

Bright, clean spacious waiting area with lots of information. Very friendly attentive staff. No waiting involved - in fact I was seen five minutes before my appointment time!

The service and treatment was outstanding no long waiting time for an appointment. Following my consultation I was given an appointment next day for my cataract to be removed what a great service
