Just spent 5 days on ward 37 and all I can say is wow! The staff from start to finish have been amazing, I honestly did not feel like I was in hostipal. They are so caring and are always there to help with anything you need. It actually felt like I was in a hotel! Thank you again for everything.

  2. Review titled Friendly and good service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

We arrived in a and e from the airport where my mum had fallen and injured her wrist and chin. We were directed to minor injuries where we were seen promptly by a friendly and informative nurse, had glue applied and an X-ray organised. Not long after the results came, and after discussion with the orthopaedics a cast applied. We were out within 4 hours, and got our flights out the next morning.

  3. Review titled Wonderful Department

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited last evening and I want to say the staff there are remarkable. I feel I wasted their time over Google frightening me in to going there when it is a place for life threatening situations. I was there over 3 hours and was treated impeccably though I feel terribly guilty now for going. They work so hard and it brought it home to me how silly I was being. I apologise profusely for wasting their valuable time and I think you're all Amazing and god knows what we would do without you. Thank you for all you do.

I brought my mother to ward 45 after a GP referral. We found friendly reception staff on our arrival and mum was taken straight through. We were there for most of the day but in that time she received bloods, CT scan, diagnosis and treatment. All of the staff were friendly and approachable. Mum's doctor was lovely. So caring and polite. Well done ward 45. You're providing an excellent service!

Mum had excellent care and treatment in the same day care unit part of A and E. All staff were very thorough and care was provided in a dignified manner, which as a nurses Mum and I appreciated. A nurse practitioner who looked after us was outstanding, she rang Mum a few days later with the results of a test. Thank you for the wonderful care.

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Sophie - Posted on 20 February 2024

Would just like to say thankyou to all the staff in the ED came in on Monday the 12th finding it hard to breathe, and having high temperatures very upset they looked after me and didn’t make me wait to long then admitted me to the assessment suite then ward 19 for a few days when I tested positive for influenza A all the staff on ward 19 took great care of me and were very friendly and managed to get me feeling a bit better with temperature going down slowly! I was very scared as I’d never been admitted oin to hospital and they were re assuring that they’d get me on the mend as I was very poorly. Thankyou again to all my nurses, doctors and healthcare assistants I had look after me for the 5 days I was in there.

  9. Review titled Unreliable

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 January 2024

I was meant to get a call back after my doctors secretary got a message passed on to her about my medication which is important and I didn’t get a call back nearly a week when it’s important kept ringing each day and wouldn’t answer or ring me back. Finally got through to her after a week and she says “I’m his secretary and don’t have a message or note about it” then put me on hold and after 30 seconds found the note and then told me the changes , but just had that sitting there until I rang ? When I should have had a call about this week before hand

  10. Review titled Quick, thorough and professional

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sally Devine - Posted on 05 January 2024

I had a scheduled breast clinic appointment on a Junior Dr Strike Day. My first appointment where I was anxious but pleased to be seen within 2 weeks of a GP referral. Absolutely outstanding service. I was going to use my private healthcare but had no need to. I was seen by three separate people with different examinations within 45 mins. Thankfully nothing untoward was discovered and I felt I couldn’t have been treated more thoroughly or professionally. Amazing hospital and staff.
