    Waited a long time to see a Doctor but was very impressed and reassured by what was said. Wanted to express my thanks. The other staff throughout the long wait were very helpful too. This was on Friday 8 March - saw Doctor at 8pm.

    Nobody likes having to go to A&E but I have to say the care that I have received there today was nothing short of exceptional. In a very busy environment I was seen by triage, sent for bloods and a scan then results with a doctor. They were so reassuring and thorough I just cannot fault them. There were even staff coming around offering sandwiches and hot drinks for patients. The QE has an awful reputation and people only usually write a review if they have something negative to say! I want to say thankyou to everyone involved in my care today you are doing an amazing job.

    Broke two toes and went as updated on the nhs website on 31.01.24 should be open 24/7 it's midnight 1.02 and I'm sitting outside and whole hospital is closed. I hope the UN will come.

    Seen 45 mins past appointment time, couldn't get seat in waiting room due to the number of men there. Scan afterwards completed by trainee, scan pics completely useless. Told to go to mat assessment for scan review as no docs left at first department. Asked 3 different times why I was there and told they didn't know why I was there. Eventually I took my notes back round to first department who told me just to go. Scan should have been reviewed properly due to low papp a count. Would love to be able to change hospital at this point as I don't have any faith in this place, the way the departments talk about each other tells me alot, one department claims the other department doesn't know what they're talking about, unprofessional. Constantly rushed through appointments. Can never get through on the phone. Submitted referral to maternity physio and never heard anything, no help from any of the midwives and still haven't met my named midwife despite being within 6 weeks of edd. If i can change hospital before remaining appointments i absolutely will.

    From start to finish very helpful. My doctor sent me for xray once I had the xray done they were very quick considering how many people were waiting we were home with in 4 hours .mar arm is in a sling as it’s got a small break .

    There is no option for Nuclear Medicine imaging dept ! But my experience was excellent was met by two lovely imaging guys that put me at ease gave me a tracer injection that was pain free, both chaps were friendly and we had a great conversation, the dept is clean and the ceiling in the imaging room is fantastic ! And no lengthy wait time was seen straight away ...I would recommend this dept and get a 10 out of 10 from my ...excellent all round

    Thank you for the comments about the Nuclear Medicine Team. Our nuclear medicine technicians work hard to provide patients with a positive experience, and we appreciate it when patient take the time to acknowledge the dedication and effort that our staff make to provide a high standard of service. Greet feedback on the “skylight” ceiling in the scanning room, a new feature that was added as part of the complete redevelopment of the department with new state of the art SPECT-CT scanner which opened in October 2023.     I was unlucky in that I accidently spilt a jug of hot water on my right knee. Through a call to 111, I was sent through to Emergency care where they dressed my wound. This seemed to go well and I was seen again the next day. However there were some difficulties and I was put on anti-biotics. Before the date of the next dressing, I was unwell. After ringing my surgery I saw a nurse and a doctor there who felt the wound was looking rather angry.. and advised my returning to the hospital for an intravenous anti-biotic. I did this but had to go through A and E first which took some time to see the doctor (who unfortunately I am not able to name) because I felt he dealt with the situation very well. He was very determined to get the right advice and got in touch with the Burns Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He was able to put through a request for a referral which was quite complicated.. using a photograph of the wound on my daughter's phone. It was very busy in A and E and my daughter and I were very impressed by his professionalism. It was late when I had the anti-biotic drip but everything was set up for my appointment with The burns Unit at Chelsea and W Hospital later day. Many thanks to Queen Elizabeth Emergency Care staff for their help and care and especially to the A and E doctor. who on the night of Wednesday 10th January and early in the morning of Thursday 11th January sorted out my situation so well.

    My mum was admitted in the early hours of New Year’s Day to resuss and then on to hdu2 The care she received was absolutely outstanding, a real credit to our nhs. From the minute she was admitted the staff kept us fully informed of her care and treatment. Thanks to the incredible staff in resuss she was able to be transferred to hdu where she spent the next 12 days. Every staff member couldn’t have been more caring, I was updated by nurses and by doctors and consultants within half an hour of arriving on the ward every day, and fully advised of any treatments she required. All the staff were lovely, I never felt alone, everyone was so approachable, kind and understanding. Thank you so much.

    DR .k.... Can't remember his name said he would make another appointment for me in April. Cortisone injection in right shoulder. Mr M Any chance of reminding him, very painful again now.

  10. Review titled They are not triaging

    Accident and emergency are not triaging people. They sent my child who is under 5 round to urgent care on previous visits over that week, on my final visit 12 days into illness I requested they triage her, when we did we got sent straight to children’s ward and discovered her oxygen levels were 86 and she the spent 5 days in HDU in Lewisham. Waited over 9 hours for a transfer to Lewisham as well. Kids were being treated in the waiting room. Unacceptable to not triage properly, they were dismissal, not just one individual, it was different people each time just shouting go urgent care. We since have been going to Lewisham where they assess people properly. You can’t send all kids round to urgent care without triage, they don’t all have simple colds. If someone comes in covered in a rash struggling to breathe how can you not triage. Never coming back, will travel further to Lewisham for proper treatment. 9 hour wait and packed waiting room. The hospital is a shambles and needs urgent work.
