    Dad was very poorly and was admitted to Fletcher ward. The care has been fantastic. The nurses and doctors have been amazing. Really appreciate all the care given to my Dad.

    Despite the long wait at times, every nurse, doctor and technician was patient, positive, and friendly. At any one time while I was there (17:30-23:30), there seemed to be 30-50 patients, plus family, friends, etc, which explains why it's busy. I think managers and ministers need to find ways of managing the flow of patients as there some bottlenecks at times. I wish all the staff well, and thank you very much.

    I was admitted for a small procedure to anputate two nicrosis toes on my left foor. I signed the consent and was waiting for the porter, when I was asked to sign another consent with more unaceptable associated risks which I refused to sign. I wanted to be discharged but the doctor disappeaed and returned with a self discharge form for me to sign. The result was that I had to walk out of the ward without the discharge letter. I spoke to my GP and informed her, she said lets wait and see if the hospital will send us the discharge letter.

    After waiting over a year for HRT advice - and then finally being prescribed HRT medication (hurrah), I am still waiting for the medication to become available on my prescription list. Own Dr knows nothing as has not received any correspondence from Northwick Park Hosp Why does this have to happen??

    after breaking my wrist the day before i was advised by the treating hospital to go to local a&e the next day. A&E had no idea why i was there i tried to explain i had been told to attend, so was processed with many others, while i was waiting had a call from previous hosp. telling me they would send an appt to save me waiting - then due to poor phone reception, i got cut off - so i was in limbo do i stay or do i go? so went to main reception. the lady on reception went above and beyond to sort me out and took me to the fracture clinic who saw me the same day. This saved me several hours of waiting in the A&E which was incredibly busy - this lady is an absolute asset to Northwick park reception - efficient, friendly and incredibly helpful

    My wife took me to A&E Northwick Park at midnight due to crushing arm and chest pain with shortness of breath. After being booked in which took 15 minutes I was called to a desk where they asked what was wrong again. After taking my temperature etc I was told I have to wait 4-5hrs for an Urgent Care Doctor? The reason the nurse wouldn’t send me to A&E was because I didn’t arrive there in an ambulance for crushing arm and chest pain. This didn’t sound right at all. My wife then took me to another hospital in Watford. Within a few minutes of arriving I was seen, vitals checked, ECG and being looked after in the ward. While I was at Northwick Park I even witnessed a gent collapse on the floor, screaming in pain. Nurses were told by countless people including my wife that he needed attention. Staff left him there and he was still on the floor in pain by the time we left. What a disgrace. Northwick Park A&E is a complete joke.

    Horrible service on A&E department... waiting time it's hours... they don't provide even enough chairs.... Kids and pregnant womens sitting on the floor!

Like trusts across the country, we’re seeing extremely high demand for our care from patients coming through our emergency pathways. I am sorry to hear that you had such a long wait and that those vulnerable did not have adequate seating. I’m unsure of the date you used our services but last week our Trust did take the difficult decision to restrict visiting in our Northwick Park Hospital Emergency Department.This will make sure that seating is available for patients who need it. I will still of course forward this feedback to the department so they are aware. thank you once again and I hope if you ever have to use our service again you will have more of a positive experience.     Having recently had our 2nd child at Northwick Park the maternity services have once again done an amazing job end to end. Apart from some minor annoyances of the whole service that are negligible for free care, Northwick park have nailed medical care. Good job staff and management.
