Review titled Great appointment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Elaine Thorley - Posted on 13 May 2024
I had an appointment at the neurology department today and it was first class. I have been having worrying neurological problems for a while now and was a little nervous when i went to the appointment but i need not have been! The consultant was absolutely amazing. He was kind, considerate, caring and listened to my very long and detailed health history with patience! He then carried out some basic neurological tests and has put in motion plans for some scans and further tests. When you have health worries, it is such a relief to have somebody like this consultant looking after you. He made me feel at ease and not so nervous. I know that whatever the outcome, i will feel very reassured being under his care.

Review titled Very satisfied with the experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Jackie Langley - Posted on 08 May 2024
Was advised by practice nurse to attend A and E after a fall. Apart from the IPad checking in system which didn’t allow me to say what had happened the experience was very good. There 3 hours in total, saw nurse, doctor, had x Ray and saw doctor again. Everyone very friendly and helpful. System looked chaotic with people being called and going through different doors, but it seemed to work. Shame there isn’t a minor injuries unit, I didn’t want to use A and E, but there was no alternative.

Attended the Conquest Hospital Hastings (A&E) following a tumble on the beach where I sustained a deep and nasty gash to my ankle. Made my own way there. Hospital is modern and clean and was seen and treated in record time ! Reception was efficient and helpful. Very professional and attentive nurse practitioner. Clean and well equipped treatment room. The NHS at it’s best. Cannot praise this Hospital and staff highly enough. 👍👍👍

Review titled Wonderful attention and treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ashley Luke - Posted on 14 May 2024
On Saturday my partner had a seizure so we came to Emergency. From seeing the receptionist to going in to see the first practitioner only took ten minutes and from then on he had various procedures done all within a few hours. The staff were incredible, kind, attentive and completely on the ball and I was able to stay with him throughout. It was a very stressful experience for both of us but they kept us up to date on what was happening and took care to see that I was okay too! He is now home after an overnight stay with more tests to be done but what amazing people they all are, we take our hats off to you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us through a very difficult time.

Review titled Excellent care and empathy
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attended as a day case for a removal of a lump. Greeted with a smile from the Admin staff member, shown to a 6 bay ward and a lovely newly qualified nurse, looked after me exceptionally well. Registrar arrived to update me on the procedure which was completed within the next couple of hours from arriving. In recovery, the care and comfort I was given was superb. I cannot fault the Conquest Hospital in the effort and care they give. So much so, I had to ensure they had a gift of chocolates on my departure. Thank you to you all for looking after me, you should all be so proud of the work you do with such grace and genuine care for the patient.

Really pleased with how fantastic the staff were at the conquest after I had to bring my 6 year old son in after he fell off a climbing frame. The staff were very quick to get him looked at and explained everything they was doing to myself and my son to keep him calm and at ease. The staff were fantastic and such high spirits. We couldn’t thank everyone enough. Well done for all your hard work. We appreciate everything you guys do. Thank you.
