Again poor performance from vine medical group, booked over the phone for nurse to remove stitches. Was told my appointment was at Stakes Hill Lodge. When I got to Stokes Hill, I was told my appointment was at Forest end so that was a wasted journey when I got to Forest and surgery. The nurse could only take out two stitches she couldnt see the other ones which wasn’t her fault as she had never done a neck wound before she said.. So I’ve had to go somewhere else to get my stitches out of my neck as Vine medical group could not do it. You generally can’t get an appointment to see a doctor there anyway, so I’m not surprised they can’t get stitches out either.

I had an appointment today at 11:30 and when I got there I was informed that my appointment was cancelled. I was not informed that it had been cancelled which I find very disappointing as I’m disabled and it takes a lot of time and effort to get to these appointments and causes a lot of stress for myself and my husband.

At my doctor's appointment yesterday I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of advice and care I received from the doctor yesterday (and other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, Health care Assistants) since joining the practice 18 months ago......and the admin team responses have also been very helpful when I've actually gone in face to face. Many thanks Team Vine keep up the good work!

I have diabetes, so I have to attend numerous doctors appointments throughout the year. The nurse I have seen on this occasion for a B12 injection didn't have a clue on how to do that properly. When I entered the room, I noticed that the syringe was already prepared with the substance she was going to inject into me when I knew that a needle, syringe... should always be open in front of the patient. I requested to have a new one prepared, and she said it was the last one, and if I don't want it, I can leave and wish me "good luck in booking another appointment." probably about 2 months' time. I took my chances, and I agreed to have that one because I really needed it because I was already overdue by about 6 weeks since I had to cancel my original appointment for personal reasons. She did it without sterilising the injected aria first, and also, she only put on the gloves with a sarcastic comment: "Since you are like that, I should protect myself." That sorts of things are happening to me almost every time I attend an appointment at Vine Medical Group, regardless of the site. Definitely not recommend! I am thinking of changing the doctors.

At 11.30am yesterday my 88yr Mother saw the Nurse for a pre-booked BP check, I was concerned for my mother as her chest sounded rattly so I asked the Nurse if she could arrange a Doctor to listen to my Mother’s chest? The Nurse refused to get a GP to listen to my Mother’s chest as he was ‘full’ she said even though you could physically hear her chest was crackling and she could not take a full breath. The Receptionist also confirmed the surgery was ‘busy’ and there were no emergency appointments left for that day at 11.30am!! I sat outside the surgery in my car and called 111 who helpfully said he would call back within the hour with a ‘ Plan’ for my Mother. I decided to drive her to St Marys Treatment Centre from Waterlooville anyway and we stayed there for 3 hours 10 minutes in a packed waiting room when all that was needed was a GP see my 88 yr old Mum at her own surgery!! The Paramedic who treated my Mother said due to her frailty and her age she should have been seen at the surgery right away because she was already inside the surgery. Shame on you Vine Medical Group. You have some good staff members there but some god awful ones!! Thank goodness the hospital I work out does not treat its patients like this surgery does!!
