    Booking appointments can still be a challenge but the online options for non urgent cases are much better now and response times are reasy

    I completed on-line booing form. Lots of questions but only took 5 minutes to complete. I got a call from surgery 10 minutes after submitting form. I was offered an appointment on the same day. Alas I couldn’t make that one but was offered an alternative appointment 2 week later. Excellent. May have been so efficient due to launch of new booking system. Not sure if it’ll be as efficient once people become aware of the system and it becomes over-loaded.

    It seems that the surgery is open to phone calls all day, not just 0800 or 1400. This means it may be possible to get an appointment before the condition requires hospital attendance.

Our new appointment system launched earlier this month and we are now able to take appointment requests from 08:00 until 17:00.     I saw the nurse to have my dressing removed after a hip operation. Initially my appointment was at the Forest End but I received a text and an email first thing in the morning to tell me that the appointment had to be changed due to staff sickness. The new appointment was at the Stakes Lodge site and only 50 minutes later. I was able to attend easily and am grateful that I was advised with as much time as possible. The nurse was kind and patient with me. Thank you.

    Annual medical carried out in a friendly and professional experience. When asked about a PSA test, pros and cons explained, extra blood taken. All good.

    I was reminded by an SMS that I was due for my PSA blood test. I booked on line using the NHS App, and was given a choice of sites with dates and times that suited me.The Health Center is nearest with ample parking. I was called in to my room number well before my time was due, had my blood proficiently taken by a very pleasant nurse, no fuss , or pain. I wish to say thanks to all from a senior citezen.

    Friendly staff. When I was nervous they would sit with me try calming down while having treatment, just having a conversation to distract me. Couldn’t name a better GP!
