    I had a very productive face to face appointment although the first for a very long time. It was very beneficial and hopefully leads to more help for my PTSD and Cancer illnesses. Thank You.

    The appointment of one specific reason to follow up BP results, the nurse was able to take a blood sample and advise on other ongoing ailments . This saved the need to have several separate appointments. Thank you to nurse Laura.

    My consultation was with a GP who I have been fortunate to see recently. As always he was kind, considerate and understanding. It is such a relief to feel that as a carer I am no longer without any support from my GP Practice. In recent weeks I have also had supportive telephone conversations with two other Doctors and altogether this has changed my opinion of Vine Medical. Before this I felt that we had no GP Practice as it was simply too difficult to get any response to any request. Now there appears to have been a general improvement. The reception staff are also kind and helpful and I just hope that it remains this way

    I went for a blood test at Stakes Lodge. The nurse had to leave the room to get a needle, so she touched the door handle going in and out, then touched the keyboard and used a pen, then got the blood vial tubes and attached the needle to them (didn’t wash her hands after touching any of this). I then said are you going to use gloves and she said no! She put a tiny bit of hand gel on. I refused, as she was about to rub my arm with a hand that had touched someone else’s filled blood tubes, a keyboard, door handles etc etc and not washed them and refused to wear gloves. She said she could make me another appointment with someone who will wear gloves ? She said nothing available for 3 weeks, I’d already waited over 2 weeks for this test. Basic hygeine, let alone cross contamination of samples and risk of disease ….
