Friendly GP who gave me the shingles jab on 29th Jan 2024 at Forest End surgery in Waterlooville. Great service and almost on time. Arm a little painful, to be expected, and a follow up 2nd jab in 6 months time.

I had a blood test, appointment was easy to book & the nurse was able to draw easily & pain-free which with my veins is not easy.

My appointment wasn’t an emergency so I was given a date to attend which was within a month of inital enquiry. The appointment was at the Stakes Lodge site, staff were friendly and systems easy to understand. I saw the doctor only 10 mins later than appointment and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Apart from waiting time, the appointment went smoothly. My GP did a few quick tests, told me what the most likely issue is, and was done in just a few minutes. Fast, carefull, gentle.

After leaving a really great surgery due to moving I have been nothing but disappointed by Vine medical group. The screen to check in is “temperamental” at one of the sites- which the staff are well aware of resulting in appointments being missed, it’s near on impossible to get appointments in the first place and I’ve been waiting 3 months for a smear test appointment!!

Dear anonymous, I'm sorry that you had such a disappointing experience with us. I have asked our IT team to provide an update on the issues with the check in screen, and will ensure it is resolved as soon as is possible. I've also spoken with our administrator who manages the cervical screening appointment invitations. She advises that she's unaware of anyone who is currently waiting for more than a few weeks. Great friendly practice and the consultation was brilliant. I realise the practice is busy and great that you send reminders about appointments. As we are all busy people these days my only query would be whether there was some way you could let patients know when a doctor is running late by more than 30 minutes before getting to the surgery. I got there in plenty time only to find I had to wait and was then late for my next appointment. I know things crop up that are urgent so this is not a complaint maybe just more of a suggestion to keep everyone informed.
