    Organised a long overdue appointment for a general checkup, was seen by a doctor who was very chatty and seemed genuinely baffled as to why I had not visited the GP in more than a decade. The doc took an immediate interest in my symptoms and booked me in for more tests straightway. Like my title says efficient and friendly, also I can speak for My Mum who has been receiving ongoing treatment for various ailments over the last year and all the Nurses and Nursing assistants and Diabetes nurses who have had to deal with her have been patient and caring (my mum is 80 yrs old and well,she can be a bit stubborn lets say). I have no problem with the practice apart from the usual at every GP, the automated booking systems are seemingly always not working and they will not let you make an appointment at the desk while you are in the building??? this last one irritates everyone I have ever spoken to and does not seem likely to change. Apart from that the practice are as helpful as you could expect (one time my mum had 3 doctors and various nurses all fussing around the wound on her leg at the same time). Looking forward to seeing how they sort all my "Bloke of a certain age" problems out.

    Trying to get an initial appt with this practice has been horrific over the last few years. However this was a self referral for a blood test, it was easy to do online. No problems. Arrived at the surgery easy to check in, called through on time, which never usually happens. The person doing the blood test was brilliant, really friendly, great manner. Completed bloods quickly and without pain.

    Poor service for my son by our gp even worse doctor who was rude and made us feel invalidated. Like we where wasting her time. Wait time was good tho didn't have to wait lon that is the only positive I can say about the while experience. Overall I would not recommend this surgery or even as a whole as a vine medical group. Very disappointed rude doctors and poor outcome on any thing u need help with useless

    Same day reply to econsult via text and phone. Tests organised within four weeks. Friendly staff carrying out tests.

    Was seen for a blood test at my appointment time. Staff were very friendly and made you feel at ease. I would recommend a visit to this surgery if your local Vine group surgery is unable to accommodate you.

    No follow up can’t get an appointment canceled appointments …… has to file 111 to get appointment as thy would not see me and then this week waited 20 mins after my appointment time to be told they moved my appointment to a different surgery me sat waiting happened to my wife also …..don’t use vine

    After waiting nearly 5weeks to be seen with a doctor only to be seen with a trainee who spent 20 mins writing notes and looking at the internet to find anything that resembles what was causing my illness only for him to leave the room to go and ask a qualified doctor for advice. Came away leaving with the same unanswered questions as when I first walked in the room. Not saying it was the trainees fault but really did I have to be seen by someone who really had no clue what my condition was also what a waste of nhs money and my time as I my as well had seen a qualified doctor straight away who would of spent about 10 minutes to diagnose what the condition was. All in all not a great service and will not be booking another appointment at the doctors whether it be vine medical group or not.

We continue to experience exceptionally high demand for our services and are booking appointments several weeks in advance. As the number of qualifies GPs continues to fall, we are proud to be able to support several trainee GPs at our practice. As you identified, all GPs in training have another GP on hand for support if needed. It is normal for doctors still in training to have longer appointment times.
