    I recently had a diabetes 2 check. I had my annual check. As my bloods were high, i was contacted and given an appointment to see the doctor. The doctor asked me questions relating to my health. And just need a follow up blood test next month. The staff were thorough and friendly

    Visited Diabetic Nurse who very helpful and tests carried out quickly. I was in uite a bit of pain from my left arm and,because I am housebound normally what could have,been an ordeal was gently hndled

    Within the constraints of what tests were available to the practitioner the health check was performed competently and sympathetically. It's the first official NHS health check I can recall being invited on so it's difficult to say more. I'm pleased this pro-active type of testing is done and would like its scope increased within what resources are available bearing in mind the potential cost benefits due to early diagnosis (tricky calculation, I know!).

    Appointment for 2.30pm. Arrived at 2.25. Hardly had time to sit down before I was called in. Simple injection took seconds. I was out again by 2.30! Very efficient.

    I filled in the long form and received acknowledgement on 16 May.When I checked progress on 25 May the application said "closed" and I have received no appointment. How am I supposed to have been contacted?
