    Really quick and helpful responseto my condition. The new online system works extremely well, I spoke to a Dr within half an hour of getting in touch.

    The new online communication regarding health concerns and filling in the form with my preferred outcome is a great way to let my gp know of my concern without having to wait in a telephone queue or sit at the surgery. It means my issue is being triaged without interrupting my day. I had a response in quick time. This is an intelligent way of accessing the surgery/ gp in 2024. It obviously wouldn't suit all people to communicate with the surgery in this way but is my preferred method. I'm unsure the sit and wait clinic is agreeable with a potential 3 hour wait , I think blood tests are better with optional appointments

Although we encourage our patients to submit their queries online we still offer our telephone option to patients who do not have internet access. We would like to clarify that the sit and wait blood test service is open 9am-12pm and does not mean this is a 3 hour wait, our average wait time is around 5-10 minutes.     I sent in a summary of some new symptoms I've been experiencing which are getting worse. I only submitted it at 1.28pm and at 1.30pm I had a phone call with an appointment at 4.10 that afternoon. I was really dubious about this new system but to be fair I was totally gobsmacked how quickly I was dealt with! The Dr I saw was absolutely lovely, very friendly, very thorough and an all round lovely person

    The response to a medication query was very prompt....the same morning. I felt that the Dr had fully understood my message and I was pleased that he also checked whether I wanted to see a Dr for an examination. I had reservations that dealing with consultations this way would not feel thorough or empathetic. The response I received today was both. Thank you. 🙂

    I’ve used this several times recently and it’s so much better than trying to call and queuing. Just send a note and on each occasion I’ve spoken to a Dr or had a face to face appointment booked within an hour or 2. It’s the best innovation I’ve seen in years and whilst it may not suit everyone but for me it’s ideal. 10 out of 10.
