    It is the first time I have used the new way of booking , using the online system. I emailed the practice at 8.10 am with my symptoms and was seeing a doctor at 9.40 am the same day. Excellent service. A lot better than having to wait ages on the phone to book an appointment 2 weeks hence.

    I submitted an online report of an issue and received a follow up call within minutes! I was subsequently examined in person within the hour at my local surgery, and have now been fast tracked for follow up screening. What an amazing service, thank you so much.

    I completed a triage form online, asking for advice about side effects for meds that I take for my heart and was amazed to get a telephone call from a doctor within 5 minutes. I was pleased that the doctor had considered my symptoms and discussed the options available to me.

    Left details of my problem on the online form. Had a reply within 12 hours. Made an appointment online using the link provided. Next day appointment. Friendly and approachable Dr. Problem discussed and the way forward determined. Very impressed with the professional competence of the Dr.

    Called the Village Health Group to ask for help with my medication as it hadn't turned up. Half way through the receptionist cut me off without a word. I had to go down to Keyworth to sort the problem out and I spoke to the receptionist there and she pointed me towards this review to make my complaint. I feel that some training should be given to your receptionists as such treatment only leads to hostility which we are all trying to avoid. More vulnerable people than myself might have been badly affected by such treatment. Please make this telephone training available to your staff and treat your patients with more respect in future and everyone will be far happier. Thank you.

    On each occasion the doctors dealt with me promptly and I was satisfied with their attention to detail. The staff in the surgery coped well with my hard of hearing problem.

    I hadn’t used the new system before and was kindly guided by the very nice lady answering my call. From submitting my online request to receiving a doctors telephone appointment I was very impressed with how quickly this was dealt with. The doctor was lovely and was happy with the advice given.

    I turned up at the surgery at 4.55 p.m. with an infected and swollen finger. The very helpful receptionist enquired to see if the GP on duty was available. He appeared almost immediately. What a genial and excellent doctor! He lanced my finger painfully and sympathetically and prescribed a course of antibiotics. I went to the pharmacy in the square where the prescription had been received. It was made up straightaway and I was out of the chemist’s at 4.17. Start to finish 22 minutes. Well done to all parties and thank you very much. (The finger is mending nicely. )
