    The new Patches system which is online booking and screening system to prioterise appointment i dont agree with. This is penalising the elderley and the disabled. This in my view is very discremenatory. To make matters worse. The system when full closes down and you have to wsit for the following day. This is crazy. The whole system needs to be reviewed. Bring it some human intervention when booking an appointment.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback on our service you received from The Pinn Medical Centre. We are sorry that you are finding it difficult to get an appointment to see a doctor at The Pinn. On average we handle over 4000 calls every week at the surgery. Whilst we do understand how frustrating it must be to get access to your GP you may be interested to know that The Pinn provides 1440 appointments per week which is the number recommended by the BMA for a practice its size. In addition, it provides 627 GP Access Centre appointments per week. It is also unfortunate that every week we have an average of 60 patients who do not attend their appointments – these are appointments that could have been used by another patient. We are sorry that you felt our service did not meet with your expectations. Our intention is only to help patients in the most pleasant and efficient way we can. We have reflected on your comments and have shared your thoughts with our management team. We are trying our very best to improve our booking system and apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.     I have been with this practice for over 12 years. My current GP is compassionate, kind and listens to me. This was especially helpful at this visit. Also, she has taken the time to understand all aspects of my health.

    The doctor was very good. The receptionist and seating is good. Booking a slot using Patches is a bit difficult, once you get an appointment, treatment is good.

    My daughetr was suffering from chest pain and the Gp was quite rude. She was not taking it seriously and after a short chat ask us to leave. She was keep talking about her daughter and teenagers habit when describibg my daughter's daily life. I was feeling like she was annoyed to look after patient. As she said, my daughter is young, dont worry as only over 60s get heart problem !?

    Telephoned Patches around 8am this morning and an appointment was organised for the same day. I was seen by a Dr who was extremely thorough and an ECG was also arranged whilst I was at the surgery.

    I went on Patch this morning to make an appt with any GP. I answered the various questions online according to the best of my knowledge Got a call late fr PMC around 10 am —offering me an appt at 10.30 same day — of which i was surprised . Thank you so much for taking me seriously. I was examined and prescribed meds. I feel a lot better tonite.
