    My son’s appointment was delayed by an hour today. The first receptionist explained that the dr had an incident with a patient and that’s why she was running late. However, when I asked the other receptionist for an update , she was rude and declined to message the dr to give me an update. She said she wouldn’t disturb the dr and I am expected to wait and she can’t tell me how long it’ll take and that these things happen! Her tone wasnt nice and she saw that my child was getting fussy after an hour of waiting but she spoke to me with complete inconsideration. I’ve had multiple incidents where receptionists were rude to me in the past and the complaints I’ve raised brought no results whatsoever. This receptionist need to recognise she’s dealing with already unwell and distressed individuals and treating them this way is completely unacceptable.

    Practice is always busy however this does not compromise the care and efficiency of the gps, nurses and staff. Well-being provisions, support and care is attentive and helpful.

    When you see a doctor- great but the keffuffle beforehand!!! 4 attempts through Patches and a not very helpful reception just winds the patient up

    Thank you Pinner Medical Staff always compassionate, never feel rushed there. When your feeling poorly the last thing you need is to feel rushed and unwelcoming but staff on the front desk are always polite and helpful !!

    I logged on to Patchs at 8.00am with an ongoing issue and concerns I had around medication. By 8.20 I had been contacted about a face to face appointment and a very kind GP advised, prescribed medication and wrote me up for an X-ray.

    needed urgent appoint for my dad (i'm his carer) He had recently been hospitalised for 2 weeks with a UTI and there were signs it was back. Got appointment for 10.40 on the day. productive appointment with lovely doctor and left with strong antibiotics, clear advise and follow up instruction fir 6 weeks time.

    Had severe back pain issue. Following initial Gp consultation I Had X-ray on 18Jan. Got result 7th March! Chased few times. Could not see Gp as going on long holiday for 3 months. Surgery was aware of this. Today wanted follow up following an update from me on patches of private consultation I had to have whilst abroad due to’ excruciating back pain. Todays Gp had not even read it! Asked me why I was there! Explained, informed her I have sent an update and also for follow up on X-ray result from March & further treatment surgery wanted to refer me for. Gp Offered no alternative solution to tablets I am taking or any form of referral for physio etc! She said hope I got enough supply as medication given abroad not available or used here. She looked up names on internet. I asked if similar available- told no. I asked for private referral as well as I have Pvt medical cover. I do not visit GP unless absolutely necessary. Last Visit I had was over 11 years ago! I was in the room for no more than five minutes! She just quickly scanned eyes on the copy of the report I sent. No seriousness demonstrated. She said have private consultation, see results and then contact surgery again to see if further treatments can be on Nhs! This is not what I have paid Ni contributions for past 48 years! Very disappointed. I Made special journey from Thurrock Grays for appointment as I arrived last night and was there. I had asked for an appointment on Saturday or Monday and was told not available. Next non urgent appointment offered to see the Gp for follow- up was 19th January despite the information I gave on Patches questionnaire. The Gp did not even check my Bp! I do not wish to see this Gp ever again. The least she could have done prior to calling me was read up on my notes, look at X-ray report and document of Private report I sent through on Patches. What was the point of doing all that on patches! Seeing the Gp face to face today was wasted visit except I obtained private referral letter!She could have just done referral over the phone! Very disappointed.
