I was very impressed with all aspects of my visit today. I requested an appointment and a blood test on the on-line Patchs scheme this morning. There were initially some teething problems with this scheme but they now seem to be resolved and the system works well. I was contacted by the surgery late morning offering me appointments. I had a choice of either an appointment this afternoon or another day this week. I was also able to choose from a few possible times. Both of my appointments ran smoothly.The staff at the practice are mainly friendly and helpful.

Used the Patchs system to get an emergency appt after hospital discharge. Got appointment quickly and very useful advice and care.

I had an excellent encounter today. The Doctor listened carefully to my answers to his questions. Afterwards going through all the options available to me and explaining in detail what each option entailed. I felt very confident and comfortable with the way I was treated today. An excellent Consultation. Treated with great respect which was very much appreciated. Thank you.

As long as you use patchs we have always had excellent, professional service and recently the waiting times for appointments have been excellent. The only issue is that the GPs often run late and it would be helpful if patients could receive an eta before they come into the surgery if this is likely to happen. It would also reduce the number of people in the waiting room. Despite this, the practice deserves ten stars.

The Pinn has changed dramatically since it was built. I know they have to change with the times and with the increase of patients but some of the changes have not worked as efficiently and at times the frustration after chatting with patients who are friends and neighbours has been hard. Patchs has improved since installed but it's not ideal, unable to change or cancel appointments 'out of hours' or when quotations on Patchs is full, and the removal of calling the surgery at weekends. All of the staff are brilliant but it is a great shame that with a building that has loads of facilities the hours have been reduced.
