  1. Review titled A Helpful Practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

The Lodge Practice were able to accept me as a temporary patient while I was staying in the area, and I was relieved to find I still received a prompt and thorough consultation with follow up blood tests and an xray, which meant I didn't lose time in getting a treatment to my condition.

  2. Review titled Caring practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Went for Flu jab with mum, as carer, and discovered Crown Pharmacy had incorrectly recorded that Flubjab had already been given to my mum. Pharmacist, Practice Manager & Receptionist at Lodge Centre investigated about our concerns/worries that vaccine recorded incorrectly by Crown & may have been duplicated. The duty doctor took time to investigated with Toxiology hotline in order to reassure my worried mum. Thank you Dr and team.

  6. Review titled Hit and Miss

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Sometimes they are amazing and respond to expnsults and book appointments really quickly.... Other times, good look getting a response and getting an appointment! Also one receptionist has been so rude to me down the phone when I was pregnant, I cried. Later that day, after my colleague told me I had to call back, I was sent to a&e and admitted to hospital. There was some initial teething issues with expnsults, and receptionists being rude with you calling to book appointments, when you can't submit e consults for young babies. Not sure if this has been rectified but it made me really anxious to seek help for my baby when it was needed as I knew it would be a battle. The rate in which they refer to 111 is ridiculous. I feel like your GP should be your first port of call, not 111 because your GP is unavailable. However, there has also been times where there has been a quick response to the econsult. Having to travel into St Albans for appointments is not ideal.

The doctor reviewed the condition for which the appointment was booked, and it was agreed that no treatment was required at this time.

  9. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

A request online for attention to one ear blocked with wax had a quick response by phone and an appointment within two days. The appointment was quick and efficient and carried out in the most sympathetic and pleasant way. The ear is now completely normal. Excellent service, thank you.

  10. Review titled System isn`t good and wasteful.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 August 2024

Needed a doctor`s letter. Had to do econsult as that is all the surgery allows. Econsult is a nightmare, long and forces inaccurate information due to options to proceed. Got an appointment despite telling them all I needed was a letter confirming my condition. Had to phone anyway as appointment was not suitable, they insisted they could not write a letter until I had seen a doctor, thankfully managed to get an appointment at another date (earlier than the original). 40 mins after appointment time the doctor saw me. The doctor was a locum and said she could not write a letter as she was just a locum and would refer the letter request to admin. A long process that isn`t resolved and could have been completed without wasting everyone`s time.
