    Told child should be seen but no GPS available and to use A+e . I pointed out that's an emergency service and they then said use 111 or the walk in centre in dewsbury. We are a family of non drivers and visiting another town is ridiculous. If the child should be seen then the gp that we are registed with should see them.

We will be happy to try and offer solutions to you, and Dewsbury walk-in centre is a great option for patients who want to sit and wait to be seen the same day. I’m sorry you would find it difficult to get to Dewsbury, but unfortunately a more local walk-in service has not been commissioned. Please be assured we will always prioritise children. There has been a recent surge in demand as parents call us worried about the rise in Strep A. Your feedback will be shared with our whole team and we will reflect on this.     I needed a GP appointment just after Christmas. I was given an appointment straight away and was then referred to hospital for further tests which I now have appointments for. Cannot fault this practice at all

    I only came in for the first time yesterday I had a hard time getting an appointment I understand that it's a hard time for all and I have admiration for the NHS but I was very ill and needed attention

    Telephone contact was answered from number 3 in the queue. Receptionist was very understanding of problem ( I am female age 88) and face to face appt was arranged for am next day. GP was considerate of problem and offered to consider care help and alternative possible solutions with own choice and prescribed pain killer medication for collection from my local pharmacy and with referral for Xray at a future date

    Easy to book appointment by phone as was unable to use web booking option due to illness. Appointment within 48hrs for non urgent matter. Clean and spacious waiting area. Short waiting time. Kind and considerate advice from clinician.

    Can very rarely see a doctor on the same day Appointments poor Website poor when working when seen by a doctor I have been prescribed completely the wrong prescription required for my ailment

    Dear patient I am sorry to have received your review and 1-star rating. Please be assured the practice offers a range of appointments from same-day to around 7-10 days away, subject to clinical need. There are many other services which support us in offering same day appointments - for example, we can refer you to a local pharmacy for a confidential consultation on the same day, or we can signpost you to the local walk-in centre for a same day sit-and-wait appointment. I am disappointed to learn that you find our website to be poor and it would be helpful to have some constructive feedback on the same. I am sorry to hear you were prescribed the wrong medication for your ailment. I would like to know more about that, and would be happy to take some more information, investigate the incident and give you a full response.     I would like to say thank you for the patience, understanding and efficiency shown to me on my recent visits to the practice. As a patient you are unfortunately not feeling your best when you arrive at reception and I have been very grateful for the understanding and help I have received from the staff in helping me with appointments and explaining about the sample forms etc.

    Any time the practice contacts me - eg for a blood test or medication review etc , the practice does a fantastic job. However when I contact the practice for a GP appointment, the service is disappointing and I end up seeking medical assistance at A & E. Frustrating and been like this for some time.

    Longish wait for an early appointment but clinician very good and excellent level of medical knowledge and good use and navigation of computer system to quickly access test results and previous history.

    Can't get to see anybody doctor or nurse you're on your own any problems go to A&E or phone 101 who referred me to Dewsbury hospital which is miles away after operation required addressing told to go to A&E who weren't impressed told me it appeared as doctors has retired

    Dear Patient Sorry to have received your review. We are absolutely still open and happy to serve our patients. I can only assume you have had issues getting an appointment with us and have been dissatisfied with the signposting options made available to you. I completely understand that it's not ideal having to travel further for assitance. Unfortunately the Practice has no control over the location of the nearest walk-in centre (Dewsbury) and we would always be happy to try and arrange an appointment at the surgery first, subject to your needs. Like any other appointment system, capacity is finite. I'm glad our admin team were able to offer alternatives for you, but I'm sorry you felt these were not appropriate.
