    Used patches to send a picture for a diagnosis, was easy to set up and use. Sent Sunday evening and by 10am Monday had a reply and a prescription to treat it. Rang to ask if the prescription was at the surgery or had been sent to my nominated pharmacy, was 13th in queue but within five minutes my call was answered.

    I received a text message reminder on Sunday 9 July for a telephone or face to face consultation next day. As I had no knowledge of this appointment I telephoned the surgery to be told that the appointment was only for the nurse to check my blood pressure results which I had recently handed in and I didn't need to attend or expect a phone call. The receptionist was polite and the pharmacist who called me a few days later was professional

    I requested a repeat prescription on 30/6/2023 and been to collect the medication from pharmacy on 3/7/2023. I found out that they have not yet received the prescription. I phone the practice and requested to send it through but he told me that it will be ready on Thursday. I explained him the situation that I have been suffering from pain during past week and had run out of medication and need it urgently. He asked me in a rude way to contact 111 if I need it urgently. I then rang 111 and gone through a lengthy procedure of investigation but in vain. I never had such type of experience before this rather all the receptionists were so helpful that sometimes they asked the pharmacy to deliver me the required medication and sent them the prescription later.

    Dear Fraz I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience recieiving medication.I understand the process must have been frustrating. This is not the type of experience I would expect for our patients and I will investigate the matter and look at how we can improve going forward. I will audit the prescription request and timescale for sending this through to the chemist and I will ask for call recordings to find out who you spoke to when you followed up.     Had a telephone appointment with the practice. The person who I spoke to was very informative and answered all my questions in a none patronising manner.

    Requested medication on 11th. Pharmacy recieved 1 item on 13th. Went to surgery to enquire. Told unknown why only 1. Assured they'd be there tomorrow. Not there by dinner so rang again as my heart med was now finished. assued again they would be there. 2 more visits and no script. Saturday still nothing in hub so my son became panicked and rang 111 and learned of the emergancy prescription service. Recieved 7 Bisoprolol tablets, got a phone call on 17th from diabeties nurse enquireing why I had an appointment on 18th and informed her that I had no idea as the practice had made it for me. she cancelled it but when told of my prescription trouble she assured me she'd sort it out. Recieved my meds on 18th. Never had this trouble before and am mystified as to why I've encounted it now.

    Easy to get an appointment, keep to schedules and follow up on action/results. Phone gets answered or at least you know where you are in the queue.

    I was over half an hour late in and know one mentioned anything to me I had to go upto the desk to ask when I will be seen. On entering the doctors room he introduced himself and repeated my name. Asked what the issue was and how long I had been experiencing my problem. He took my blood pressure and look into back on my eyes. Did numerous tests with me and agreed he would need to send me for an MRI. So all in all it went well. He said we will discuss anything further after seeing results.

    I recently moved my family records to Grange Practice and its been a wonderful experience for us. From the courteous reception, to priviledge of self check-in, and the empathetic/friendly GPs. Before moving our files, I had a very negative view of GPs but I must say, Grange is doing well and they are highly recommended!
