    Felt like got to fight to get past reception to see a doctor feel like receptionist can talk but not listen and tone of vioce they use at times trying to intimidate and put u down as daft stupid and like we know nothing that they are qualified doctors not receptionist

    Dear patient I'm sorry to hear about your percieved "fight" to get past reception. This is absolutely not what I would expect for our patients and I will share this review with our reception/admin team. I hope you can understand that our non-clinical team have been trained to take more information about the nature of a problem, but this is simply to ensure patients are seen by the most appropraite service at the most appropriate time.     On two occasions I have wanted cream - betnovate for severe and very painful hand eczema (prescribed by an hospital consultant) and an antibiotic cream for an insect bite that started to bubble into a blister recommended by the chemist. I can’t get either. They don’t like you asking them for what you know works or what other professionals have recommended. So I suffer because of their pettiness and ignorance. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

It is always important we have written requests/instruction for medication from other healthcare professionals in order to treat patients safely. I'm sorry if this wasnt explained to you.     I arrived on time for my appointment, but had to wait 30 to see someone When we spoke to receptionist we were told they were running late isn’t it just manners to inform patients of this This is something that happens quite often at this practice

    I was dealt with in a very considerate and understanding manner. It was not easy for me to get to the practice so I was allowed to send on a photo and prescribed accordingly.

    I didn’t know I had an appointment until I looked in the nhs app to see if my prescription had been issued and saw I had an appointment. I then didn’t receive a call at the appointment time or any time that day ???? Confused!!!!!

The NHS app does unfortunately list all appointments and some of these are remote appointments, essentially where our clinical team are scheduling work to do for you. Sometimes this doesn't require any contact with you, so please be assured you can always call us and check if you are unsure. A member of our friendly reception team will be happy to help.     I rang up with concerns about still not getting my ct scan results back even though the ct was meant to be fast tracked, wanted to speak to a doctor about my concerns, the receptionist put me on hold for a minute then when she came back she quickly told me she would try and get this resolved before quickly ending my call by saying sorry got to go now like something else more important came up or she couldn’t be bothered to talk to me no more, so after she hung up I still had no answers and she never said she would arrange a doctor to call me even though I had told her of my concerns of my medical condition.

    Having several ailments I have been given different medication from different practitioners and then other practitioners refusing to continue medication. Seems nothing is joined up, all practitioners have different ideas. Resulting in the patient not knowing what’s the best to do. Suggest a case review with multiple ailment patients.

    I’ve spoken to the 111 on 17th of August and for my daughter. She had very bad stomach and dizziness. They booked us a telephone appointment with the GP but unfortunately we did not receive the call. We had to go to the emergency.
