Service depends on which member of staff you speak to some are very helpful others arent. Most of my appointments have been over the telephone which I dont mind as its just mainly reviews of pre existing conditions. Always get my perscription wrong so end up getting emergency medication. They never ring to explain why they never perscribe the amount i ask for.

I've been a patient here for 30 plus years and have always felt well looked after with any illness I've approached them with friendly staff and prompt responses.

The practice is so much better now that we can see a doctor.They appointment was very quick and through.I am being referred to a consultant.

Quick and fast, and the doctor was very helpful And the doctor did explain to me the issues I had and some questions. I didn't understand and she explained to me to make sure I understood exactly what she would tell me she was very helpful. Once again, thank you very much.

Doctor rang 21st Aug 23, at 13:50, said reception will call book appointment, ecg, bloods, blood pressure machines, no call, today 22nd Aug 2023, 10 oclock rang Doctors, reception, oh yes , we need to book appointments, if I would not have phoned, I would not have had any communication from them, managed an appointment 2 weeks time, yep 2 weeks time, see above issues, people are off , I got told,is this good enough?

Very difficult to get an appointment even if urgent - got sent to Dewsbury on one occasion. Also communication is poor - recently the dosage of a medication was significantly reduced but I only found out when I picked it up from the Pharmacy.Only on ringing the Grange, did I find out there was a message from GP re change of dosage.Surely this should have been communicated to me earlier before picking up new dosage of tablets? Receptionist very apologetic but not her fault.

I hope you were offered a range of options to be seen, and sometimes the Walk In Centre is the best option. I saw the nicest doctor on my last visit she had patience and was thoughtful must say she was the best doctor I have seen at this practice in a long time On the good side it’s getting easier to get through to the practice but can’t understand the need for one problem only per visit it takes longer to wait in the queue to get another appointment than carry on with the original appointment

Dear Carol I was disappointed to recieve this 2-star review due to being asked only to bring the most important problem to your appointment. It is unfortunate that our clinicians do have fixed appointment systems so that we can optimise our service and consult the maximum number of patients in a safe manner. I am pleased to see there are lots of positives in your review and I hope you will return to leave a review in future. I asked for appointment in the morning, was given one the same afternoon. No complaints there but I had to remind surgery that I had not had blood test for 2 years and it was important that it be monitored. When prompted, they acted quickly.Very helpful and I formative.Thankyou.
