  1. Review titled Good practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was able to see a doctor in the afternoon of the same day that I called. The wait trying to get through to the surgery in the morning was worth it.

Face to face appointment with a Locum GP at this surgery. I was seen on time and received the help I needed. Reception staff on duty that morning were very nice and friendly.

Rated 4 stars out of 5

The nurse was extremely helpful and took time to ask questions and give advice in addition to carrying out my smear test very gently and carefully. I was very happy to see her.

  4. Review titled Once you have an appointment, it’s great

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 June 2024

Hard to get an appointment without walking in to book in person (phone lines cut out, can’t book advance non-urgent appointments) but once you’re in, the practitioners are great.

  5. Review titled As suggested - great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Rayden - Posted on 08 June 2024

I got an appointment and pleased that I had the option of telephone or coming in. I chose to come in which was clearly the right option as I was referred to go to A&E immediately. So naturally pleased I had gone in but a bit apprehensive.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by John Fagan - Posted on 03 June 2024

Saw the practice nurse who spotted an infection with my leg and suggested I needed IV antibiotics. Went to A&E and was admitted for treatment which is now complete.

  7. Review titled ok practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Ruba - Posted on 07 June 2024

I went to see the physiotherapist for my wrist pain. I thought she was helpful and I need to try be committed to doing physiotherapy exercises . however the physiotherapist said that I need try ice pack too and exercises first of all and can see whether can refer me to X-ray scan or ultrasound scan after six weeks . I was want a scan urgently but then I agree with her that I need try techniques and also take ibuprofen for my wrist pain. I’m happy and satisfied with her typed on screen what she was saying because I’m deaf and sometimes could not understand her . anyhow I’m satisfied with the outcome my appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Doctors all say different things, we were told all my bloods were abnormal but then when we came in he said they were all fine but I got texts and notifications on the nhs app saying they were all abnormal and I need to speak to a doctor as soon as possible.

Thank you for your feedback. If you are still concerned I suggest you make another appointment with a different doctor to re discuss. better you take time to discuss than feel you were not given the information on the results. It is difficult to respond to anonymous senders. \if you wish to discuss further please email the practice email and we can help. Regards, practice manager

  9. Review titled Disappointing

Rated 2 stars out of 5

    by G Maria - Posted on 08 June 2024

Incredibly slow waiting times. It’s hard enough to get an appointment, then once you have one the gp surgery is slow. Very little concern or care. A lot of elderly people with mobility issues coming in and having to queue with other people at the front. Waited an hour past my slot time until I was seen. I had a concern over a potential skin cancerous mole, I was laughed at and then given a referral (I was happy to get the referral), but the whole experience made me feel rather silly when I was just coming to get checked and take preventative measures. Overall very disappointing

Thank you for your feedback. Appointments are difficult as per the overall genre we have an average of a two week wait. I apologise as you are aware GPs sometimes run over time if patients need more care and or attention this is given to all patients. I will share your experience and disappointment at out next practice meeting. Regards, practice manager
