    I was asked if the medicine kept my asma under control and how much I was taking I told the doctor once a day she then asked me why i was taking apixaban I said I had atrial fibrillation.

    Wanted to get appointment to see GP to check lump on face. Given a link to send photos of lump and told would get phone call next day. Was phoned on time but person start talking about something else. When put straight they tried to access photos but could not open them . She then told me to go and see someone at minor injuries at Chippenham. I asked if I could see someone at my surgery but told no. On arrival at the Minor injury unit the nurse asked why I was there as it's not the department to go too. It was a waste of my time and hers. She is going to flag it to my surgery to get this sorted asap. Why are there no GPs available for appointments at our surgery. They just seem to want to pass their responsibility to someone else.

    I have recently moved to the area and have needed the doctor recently. I visited a nurse who was quick to reassure me of the plan with treatment required. I needed further medication and had a telephone conversation that mornin where the doctor gave me a new prescription. It was a good experience

    I wanted expert advice on my ‘short term’ memory loss which is getting worse. The Advance Nurse Practitioner who saw me was happy to involve my wife in this consultation. I felt very relaxed, she didn’t rush the discussion, wrote clear notes and slowed the conversation down if necessary. I didn’t feel rushed, it was a thorough discussion, centred on my needs leading to an outcome. This professionalism gave me confidence in her recommendations such as Referral to a memory clinic, book an eye test to include non invasive imaging (which I booked today for August 29), and a possible brain scan’. I will get booked in for next appointment. Thanks again for your patience and exceptional knowledge in this area. I look forward to next stages.

    I had a telephone appointment with a doctor and I have to say she was very kind , and made all the difference to have an understanding person on the end of the phone

    I phoned reception to ask about yellow fever. She failed to tell me that the clinic has nothing to do with yellow fever and instead referred me to a med loop practitioner. The med loop practitioner said it was an admin/receptionist job so asked me to ring back to reception. Reception then said that I needed an appointment with a different practitioner, so that was organized for the day after. I explained that I wasn’t able to make an appointment however it was booked as an in person appointment so I then rang Reception again And explain that I wasn’t able to make this appointment in person and it needed to be over the phone. When I had this appointment, the practitioner then told me that the clinic has nothing to do with yellow fever and the reception should’ve told me that. And said that she had no record of an appointment that I had with a travel nurse back in June discussing antimalarias and vaccinations. All I needed was a confirmation letter stating I didn’t need yellow fever to make my entry into Tanzania easier as I am traveling independently.

    Dr gave helpful advice and reassurance and did not try to persuade me to take treatment l was unwilling to try while encouraging me to do so as this was his advice governed by his training. We agreed to wait for the results of blood tests. He did not rush me and was very positive with good eye contact

    I rarely need to see a GP and in the past have had difficulty getting an appointment …. However, I having recently been unwell I was able to speak to a receptionist who sent me a text to book an appointment at my convenience. When I attended for my appointment I was seen more or less on time by a GP who was very understanding and thorough. All in all this was a good experience.

    I booked my appointment after using the online service to leave details about the issue I was having. It was easy to use, and suggested I see a GP. Booked the appointment, but I did have to wait 4 weeks for the appointment. However, on arriving at the surgery I was seen at my appointment time. The GP had all my notes regarding the matter I had booked for, so I didn't need to repeat myself, which was good. He was thorough and very professional. I was very happy with procedure from start to finish. My only comment would be the wait to see the GP, but I didn't consider my issue to be urgent so I didn't mind too much.
