    The pharmacist provided support and care for me even after she was supposed to have finished work for the day. She explained everything so that I could understand and paid very good attention to detail.

    The practioner (not a GP) was very enthusiastic but didn't seem to know my medical history which I consider important. They also said they would forward informationo/exercises for one of my issues that I would prefer not to take medication but I think they forgot as nothing has arrived and it's very difficult to contact practioners these days!

    Getting the actual appointment was time consuming, but the date given was only a couple of working days in the future, so happy with that. The electronic booking in procedure was easy to use and probably quicker than speaking to a real person (being hard of hearing that doesn't always go too well anyway). The GP came to collect me from reception a good few minutes before the allotted time for my appointment, which I can't ever recall happening before, and the care I received was exemplary. My health issue was identified, explained and treatment offered and accepted. Came away feeling very happy with my visit.

    I have a headache with nausea, pain in upper spine and earache for several weeks. I have taken analgesics to reduce the pain which has been effective. I filled in the online form to try and get a face to face appointment. I didn’t get that, instead got a phone call which was supremely unhelpful. Doctor took no history, just asked the questions on the online form again. And told me to continue my painkillers. If they stopped working he would give stronger ones. As a middle aged, overweight woman on HRT he didnt think it was a good idea to check my blood pressure, do a diabetes test or think to check hormone levels. The phone call was absolutely useless and did nothing to support or diagnose the underlying issue. Told the waiting lists for physio are too long, when I had already explained the pain didn’t feel muscular. It is no wonder serious conditions go undiagnosed for so long. I have a medical background and hence made the appointment but was made to feel like I was wasting the GP’s valuable time.
