    Wait for a prolonged recorded message to finish. Start as 7th in queue. After 45 mins wait, get through and receptionist is shouting 'Can you hear me' over waiting room din. She finally says she can hear me, asks the date of birth of the person I was ringing about, repeats the question a couple of times then hangs up. On-line service unavailable and no email. Call relates to a 96yr old who will now be kept waiting until we can find some way to get through.

    Dear Robin, We appreciate the feedback you have left as all feedback positive and negative can be used to learn from to improve our service. We are hoping to have a new telephony system installed very soon so problems with the recorded messages should be much improved. We also apologise for the background din; we have a lot of staff in a very small office. We have fed this back to the team and hope we can lower the noise levels but sometimes this is not possible if we need to be heard by patients who are struggling to hear us. The calls are now coming through faster since the new online system has been set up, making it easier for vulnerable and elderly patients to reach us without being put in such a long queue and we hope this continues.     I don't know when the practice changed from the daily lottery of phoning for an appointment to the new system but in my experience this is so much better

    Always have been looked after very well and this last appointment was very good and efficient. The nurse went through all my medication and explained it and then examined me and took blood tests.

    I saw a lovely doctor yesterday who not only examined my foot but took the time to speak to me, I'm now being referred to another specialist.

    Such a better service not having the stress of 8 am phone que. had an appointment with nurse she was running 19 mins late . I have copd called in for my antibiotics and steroids as have a chest infection. I am disabled but doctor insisted l have to go in for steroids.. Which is so difficult for me to get there . Sorry for moan but overall much improved service. Thank you everyone at Northendon Group Practice.

    Copd review, rx new inhaler, phone follow up. The nurse allocated an hour during which I completed two spirometry tests. Everything explained in depth, including graphs/results on pc. I learned more in one session about copd/asthma and different inhalers than I have in 10 years. Similarly a long and helpful phone follow up. I'm very happy with the service at this practice.
