    Just returned home from the Northenden Group Practice after having undertaken a health review. I was impressed by the detailed care and attention I received, the very quick response to my issues and the positivity experienced. I am also pleased that a new appointments system has been implemented which will no doubt remove much of the frustration caused by the previous one. Well done and thank you.

    Aprt from a couple of missed phone calls always able to see a GP. Recent review went OK. Waiting results of MRI scan which GP promised to chase up.

    Very good and definitely improving. More cover seems to be needed on reception as it takes a long time to deal with most people at the counter.

We understand that some queries at the desk can take longer than others to be dealt with, we encourage our patients who are solely checking into their appointments to use the check in screen to reduce waiting time at the reception desk.     Whilst limited by lack of information available following recent tests, I felt listened to in an empathetic way, as am NHS clinician myself I found the doctor very compassionate and caring. The only issue I have as a patient, is as a clinician I find the reception windows incompatible with privately conversing about conditions, which currently the entire waiting room can hear.

    Dear Patient, We appreciate the feedback you have left as all feedback positive and negative can be used to learn from to improve our service. Test results are now able to be viewed using the NHS app, if you are not signed up to this service you can do so by downloading the NHS app and following the instructions. Alternatively, you can contact the practice and speak to our reception team who will be able to relay the doctors’ comments. We also have a further reception window around the corner, away from the main waiting area where patients can discuss their concerns with the reception team.     I had been trying to book an appointment for my child for more than a month when I finally got it, the doctor was very rude, she didn't let me explain anything, she told me that everyone had many life stories and she didn't want to listen, I told her it was important as my child had an infection and she started asking me to stop talking as she didn't want to get involved because she would be forced to book her an appointment and they're very busy to book more people in. I left the room crying in frustration.

    Came in to see the doctor and was sent for a scan 4 days later and early stage bladder tumour detected. Seeing the doctor early probably saved my life. Thank you.

    Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to feedback your experience of our First Contact Practitioners (FCP’s). FCP’s are a key member of the practice staff. They have longer appointments than GP’s and can provide specialised advice without having to wait for a referral to be processed.
