    Lovely friendly staff when I ever ring so efficient and helpful always able to deal with my request for appointments when needed great GPs and easy to navigate the appointment booking system would definitely recommend to family

    Over the past 2 months I have found it so much easier to access the GPs, Nurses, blood testing etc. The new procedure using the forms to request to see a GP has made a huge difference. The days of the horrendous and stressful waiting to get through on the phone from 8 am or queueing outside the door seem to be over. Thank you for the improvements made. The GPS and Nurses are fabulous. The receptionists have a hard job, but they also seem more relaxed and are very helpful.

    My recent visit to the surgery was a positive experience. All team members from reception to nursing staff and doctors were friendly and professional in the way they treated me , an excellent service all round, thankyou northenden group practice for the work you do .

    Had a review for my long term diabetes etc and it was very thorough covered life style food walking among other things. Blood taken seem to cover a lot of things not normally asked. Felt quite reassured.

    I have always received courteous and helpful attention from the practice, once connected to them I have heard many receptionists going above and beyond to help others, (usually those older, or less able). I think the surgery should be really proud of that fact The NHS workload is not easing, and I fear never will. As a professional nurse and manager I know there are no quick solutions. And while it may seem a good idea to double the size of the practice!! It obviously can’t happen. I would suggest, as I already see happening that more nurses are used to triage, deal with small things, but Be available. Ie. Walk in patients, longer days Also a walk in admin service again available. A patient needs to know if GP has received a letter ….. if a referral has been made if meds ordered. etc. A “go between “All the stuff that holds up the receptionists. I know there are these people, but unavailable to public So that one can drop in and ask a person, the right person with knowledge to answer or investigate and reply later. I know reception does this, but too much work? A back up maybe someone who would recognise the importance or urgency of the query? These Tablets should not suddenly be stopped ? This appointment was urgent because……. This need should be met sooner rather than later …….. Etc. I’m know you have Receptionists who can do this, I have met and thanked them, but too much work? Maybe a nurse could take this, a responsibility that can be handled safely and fairly Anyway. The main point is accessibility and I know all the problems. Thanks for asking

    Dear Catherine, Thank you for taking time to feedback. We are happy to hear that our reception staff are going above and beyond to help our patients. We are indeed very proud of all our team here at NGP as everyone works very hard. We totally agree, the NHS workload is not easing and has actually increased significantly over the years and also since us coming out of a National Pandemic. We can assure you we have no intention of doubling the size of the practice list but we have lost patients due to the issues we have faced over the last few years and since the onset of the pandemic plus the terrible situation with the telephony service. We therefore need to build back to where we were to enable us to provide a service here at NGP.
