    Excellent professional review. Spent sufficient time talking to me (on phone) to discuss all my meds and answered my questions fully. Also agreed a follow up referral to the GP by the Pharmacist which has been done as discussed. Thank you.

    Had a review of my regular meds with the clinical pharmacist. Had lots of reminders before the telephone review. Called on time, went through everything carefully. Felt listened to and cared for. Thanks Hollies medical centre!

    I‘be been with this practice for many years, and through the many changes and challenges either from government policy or resulting from the recent pandemic, and reception staff, practice nurses and the doctors have remained friendly, hard-working, and thorough. Thank you

    I have an annual review of my medication and blood tests with the practice nurse. I am always invited (electronically) to make an appointment in good time. The interview with the practice nurse is efficient. I am informed of the outcome and have a follow up conversation with the practice pharmacist. I am happy with the service and that my condition is being monitored.

    We have had so many positive experiences at the Hollies medical centre over the few years since we moved to the area. We are so grateful for the receptionists, administrative staff, doctors, nurses, pharmacists and midwife and would recommend the practice.

    I was seen by a registrar who was very friendly and thorough, seeking advice from a colleague before offering treatment. I did not have to wait at all on arrival, so my only criticism is the six week wait for a routine appointment - Christmas probably didn’t help!

    I'm quite nervous about visiting medical settings, so I was relieved to be seen by such a reassuring and personable medical professional. The way they explained everything, and took time to answer my questions was so welcome. Prior to being seen by them, my experience was poor. Like several other people, my appointment was at 8.30, but the door to the building wasn't unlocked until 8.45am. Meaning I was incredibly anxious about being late - and very cold too. The receptionist who opened the door didn't explain or apologise about this. Once inside, as I waited for my appointment, I could hear the receptionists answering the phone. The way that one of the receptionists spoke to patients - and the things that were said about patients when the phone was put the phone down - was appalling. I felt very anxious that I would also be openly discussed in this way once I had left the surgery. Based on the comments I overheard, my suggestion is that patients should not be required to disclose their ailments to the receptionist. After the things I heard, I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable disclosing anything in future. I don't know if the issue is around reception training, or more around hiring the right people. Please try to remember that calling the surgery to make an appointment has often taken a lot of courage in the first place. Some patients don't attend very often, so they are likely to be shocked and confused when receptionists ask them personal questions that they aren't expecting

    I booked an online appointment and was given a time of 8.50 for a call from a GP. I had several reminders each stating a time of 8.50. By 9.30 I hadn’t had a call so phoned the practice and was told by the receptionist that you don’t give times for phone appointments. I have no problem with that but I would suggest that your online appointment states that rather than being given a time
