    This practice I cannot recommend enough . Up to date with latest information. Texts sending advice prompting how to lead a healthy lifestyle . Latest recommendations . Overall a fantastic practice who care about their service and patients . Polite efficient professional within an easy location . Praise to all !!

    In what must be the most stressful of circumstances we are still experiencing,I cannot praise highly enough the first point of contact at the doctor's - the receptionists - how they cope I honestly do not know - they listen, they empathise, they seek advice from the doctors and nursing teams, whilst endeavouring to work miracles for the patients.Since mid 2022 I had required twice weekly treatments at the Hollies; following a hospital procedure at the end of the year I still require weekly visits to the surgery.I am indebted to the entire teams for their care, kindness, professionalism and always taking time to answer my many queries.Thank you.

    My chronic condition is regularly and carefully monitored by this Practice without my having to take the initiative. Whenever I attend the GP and Practice Nurse I receive the most polite and reassuring help I could wish for. Never do I feel being rushed through a consultation. The tales I hear about the failing NHS is not something I recognise so can only say that I am very privileged to be a patient of the Hollies medical team.

    My son had his preschool jabs and the nurse explained what she was going to do but then did the actual jabs very quickly and efficiently to minimise the time he was upset for. Very grateful to her for making this as speedy as possible.

    I went for a prescription review, and I was a bit anxious, I met a very pleasant and professional assistant who noted it all down! I had bloods taken, and much to my surprise, she managed to complete 1st time, which is very unusual for me! I was very impressed! I come away from surgery feeling relaxed. Thank you to all the staff, you work hard and with a smile!

    Once I managed to log on to request an appointment at the required time, the process was straightforward. I was offered an appointment within the week and saw a female doctor as I had requested. No waiting time in surgery and the doctor explained my options to me clearly and with evidence base which I appreciated.

    Like many other practices The Hollies has been affected by Covid but the patient care and availability of appointments when required has always been so much better than other practices within close proximity. Well done everyone.

    Had a telephone appointment due in the morning. Was waiting for call but one didn’t come through. Saw I had a missed call from an unknown number but didn’t ring. Contacted reception who told me the call when straight to voicemail on both contact numbers. Rearranged call for earliest convenience of the doctor with a third contact number and the same thing happened again. Luckily one of the calls managed to get through but had it not, would have been a missed appointment (on my part probably). Needs to be looked into as I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to

    We arrived on a cold grey day into a warm and welcoming practice. The Receptionists were smiling and friendly - we had already checked in . We went into a comfortable waiting room . We were shortly greeted by the doctor who we had spoken to on the phone before. She was professional and knowledgeable. We were quickly put at ease . The doctor spoke to my husband and myself in a calm sensitive manner . She was familiar with the case history.We were happy with with her diagnosis and treatment. We left the practice in good spirits and feeling that we were in safe hands .
