I popped to the Hollies with our younger son for his asthma review. We saw one of the nurse practitioners who was so lovely. She explained about asthma very clearly to my 11 year old son, using simple age appropriate descriptions on how asthma affects the lungs, and how the different inhalers work to relieve or prevent symptoms. She assessed his lungs with a peak flow and asked relevant questions about his asthma symptoms direct to my son, whilst referring back to me when necessary. My son’s prescription was altered plus a more compact spacer was prescribed, making it easier for him to transport to school if necessary. The nurse was very professional, friendly and approachable and as we left the surgery, my son commented on how ‘nice and kind’ she was. All the staff at The Hollies Medical Centre are amazing and work incredibly hard. Thank you all so much for everything that you do for us all.

Earliest appointment was one month ahead for a blood test! Actual treatment was excellent. Very prompt. Couldn’t fault it

The surgery has up to date website and patient online profile, which allows patients to see the history of their care, book online appointments, and reorder medications. Calls answered at the expected time frame. Staff are very courteous and referrals are done quickly and reasonably.

Excellent service and seen promptly which is much appreciated with a newborn. The nurse was caring, thorough and approachable and went above and beyond to ensure a stress free appointment.

Very helpful appointment looking at various potential interacting problems. I particularly valued being shown my results and having different options explained to be able to make an informed choice. It was hard to make the appointment in the first place but excellent healthcare when there

I had to wait a while to get an appointment. Once I did, I was seen in person. The doctor was caring, efficient and thorough. She talked through more than one issue, I left feeling that I had some tools to improve things. I couldn't book a follow up appt on the day, we used to be able to do this. So frustrating aspects of admin but good care once you see someone.

The woman who treated me was the first gp in years to take me seriously and she was quick to get back to me on results. She made a difficult process a lot easier.

I have been using the practice for over 30years, all staff are professional and extremely caring. The practice pharmacist has been helpful in talking through the medication.
