    I was so impressed with my experience of the Hollies Practice this week. I started with an initial telephone consultation which led to a same day appointment. Two days later a follow up appointment resulted in effective treatment for my complaint. Throughout, explanations of my issue and possible treatments were explained to me in language which was easy for me to understand so that I was clear about my treatment options in the short and longer term. I was given the opportunity to ask questions so that I felt reassured and able to make informed choices. Overall I was impressed with the speed and sensitivity with which I was seen and treated.

    I was seeking clarification as to why I was experiencing difficulties maintaining my regular fitness levels, and performing other daily tasks. This was following a bout of Covid19 nearly three months previously. In effect I should have seen improvement in management of the condition which I was consulting the doctor but this was not the case. It needs nothing that I had been referred to the doctor by the Asthma nurse who had reviewed my medication and progress. The doctor saw me with minimal delay. Through questioning and listening to my responses the doctor was able to determine that I required further investigotary measures. I short term plan was put in place which included my submitting some sample tests. This is the type of response that patients want to experience. It is what makes the work of the doctors and staff at Hollis to stand out for me.

    A great practice with very professional and caring staff. Took a little time to get an appointment but then not rushed through. Medical staff took care to fully understand any issues .

    An injection to the stomach. Almost pain free and very fast. Pleasant nurse. Good experience. On time at start of appointment.

    I've always found the team to be cordial, patient and helpful. For me, the practice responds to my needs and queries in a timely and comprehensive manner. I find that care is taken to maintain my privacy and dignity.

    A good follow up interview where a plan was agreed upon and action to be taken. The doctor was very thorough and empathatic. I felt very satisfied that the appointment had gone well and I would be looked after.

    Went for a blood test yesterday and the nurse did not know what she was taking it for..Had wrong prescription in past and always difficulty in getting an appointment. The practice doesn't seem fit for purpose.

    Only way I can contact the GP is certain times on the app!! Even to complain you have to phone!! The old email contact was fantastic for deaf customers. I now have to rely on my wife to phone…

    “Your guaranteed a appointment if you call anytime go to 10am” whilst you start ringing at 8:30 and no1 ever seems to answer even though you maybe caller number 2 and on hold for 30-40 minutes then told there’s no appointments available. Happens all the time. Tried to get an app for my mum this morning who has several health conditions. No appointments. The dr without looking at her notes dismissed she needed an appointment and advised to go to the walk in centre. If she actually looked at her notes and looked at what her bp was she should have got an appointment. Never the less on the phone to 111 now who will just bounce me back to them. The surgery is definitely going down hill.
