    When speaking to the GP the conversations were polite and helpful. We discussed things in detail and it was very helpful.

    I do like the new way to request appointments and telephone consultations as it does appear a much more efficient way to get support. Today, I really felt listened to and supported by the GP. He enabled to think about what I needed to manage my issue and kindly guided me to make a decision about my treatment option.

    I was just rather staggered to receive a text message instead of a telephone call for my meds review. As instructed I waited the allotted time (40 mins in all) for a call that was replaced by a text. I appreciate all you are doing in difficult times, but what's the point of making an appointment if you just send a text I can access at any time? Could you maybe say you'll text me to start with? Otherwise very grateful for an excellent surgery.

    Once I got to see the GP they were easy to talk to and very thorough. I wasn't rushed and felt listened to. Unfortunately accessing a GP either by phone or face to face was not easy. Initially I phoned in the given time scale and was told to try again the next day just to be triaged. I then tried applying online, on a Friday, for a routine appt and received a antomated message saying some one would get back to me that day. Although I waited by the phone all day no one contacted me until the Mon morning. I was then told the earliest appt was in four weeks and would be longer if I wished to speak to the original GP who had seen me about the same problem a month earlier.

    I have been using the Hollies for over 15 years and overall the service has been good. However, now there is the ongoing issue if getting an appointment, health issues that cannot be defined as Urgent or Non- do not fit in with the online booking system. Getting continuous consistent consultations with the same GP is pretty much impossible now. Whilst some of the doctors do try to understand the whole picture the system does not allow for multiple investigations. And you see one doctor and then they are gone! I understand that the health service is under huge pressure but I don't think the GP model is working. Having the same system to deal with routine coughs, colds, cuts, sprains etc is different to needing consistent ongoing support for other chronic illness or mental health issues for example.

    Quick administration of jab. I would have appreciated a text notice that I could also have had Covid jab. Like many others I'd been elsewhere for that.

    I was booked for a blood test at 11.25am on Thursday 24th August 2023. I was seen a little before that time, and the sample-taking was done efficiently, cleanly and swiftly. I was in and out before 11.25am.

    Can’t get through on the phone. Receptionist very unhelpful. Had to wait 2 months for an appointment with nurse for Mirena and HRT.
