    I brought my son in for his routine immunisations while at it I explained to the nurse another issue he has been having that is worrisome to me which she also noticed, the nurse immediately prompted the doctor who came in and reviewed my son immediately. I am quite impressed and appreciative of their efficiency and value for my son’s health. They were very cordial and pleasant as well. Thank you to you both.

    I visited the Surgery following a request to be seen by a specific doctor. On arrival I discussed and sought guidance on issues which were continuing to affect my health and day to day role in the family. I was able discuss freely. At all times I felt that I was being listened to. The doctor suggested ideas for selfhelp. I was also referred to the Hollis Surgery's Wellbeing department who have since then contacted me. I felt that the sessession met my expectation and beyond. I walked out feeling less apprehensive but more aware. I have confidence that I can speak to the doctors at the Surgery and they will listen and take action.

    Ok should have been called in at 40, 45, 50,55 but better late then never, i did enquire but told they didn't do them and "what you dont know won't hurt you" Sent message to enquire if they do them and received appointment two weeks later. Attending the appointment with a very pleasant person who went through all the checks informed that information will be on the app which it was within 24 hours. " thanks

    I had a really positive experience when I attended for my routine smear appointment. The practice nurse was very thorough and clear with the information she gave me and made me feel really at ease.

    Following a fall I fractured my shoulder.Whilst I was treated at the hospital my pain relief and ongoing medication was dealt with by my GP. At all stages the advice and help I received from the Hollies was first class. The reception staff dealt with my request efficiently and the Doctors arranged for the medication to be prescribed - over the phone they. also offered advice on how to manage my pain and offered support.

    I had requested specifically to see a doctor at Hollis over a situation of concern. During the session with the doctor I felt that my concerns were listened to as the doctor sought clarification and confirmation all the time. Thereafter the doctor discussed a plan of action for further exploration which included referral for tests at a different departments at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. The doctor provided me with clear instructions regarding opening times and locations for such tests. However for one of the tests, I turned up earlier than the date by which the doctor had stated. Although I was fully aware of the instruction and the rational behind it, due to the then poor wintry weather forecast, and the fact that I was already in the building for a different test, I turned up at a reception when I should not have done so. Needless to say they were not ready for me as relevant data for my test had not arrived. I was polite and apologetic to the Hospital receptionist and was about to leave when the receptionist asked for me to wait saying that she would try to find out whether Hollis could send my notes. She proceeded to contact Hollis on my behalf (through a hold on telephone mechanisms whereby Hollis Surgery would ring back when my number along the que came up). When my number came up Hollis Administration staff acted swiftly liaising with a doctor and my notes were sent to the Teaching Hospital X-ray team. From then on things progressed fast. I was impressed and felt valued by the the doctor at Hollis responded to my needs and jointly with me drew and action plan. Secondly I was impressed by the teamwork between the Hollis Adminstration team members and the doctors and how they dealt to the unexpected request from the Sheffield Teaching Hospital. I was saved an arduous trip in poor weather which would have exacerbated the condition which the tests had been sought for. Another positive experience!

    There's such a limited opportunity to make an appointment and it doesn't fit with a typical working day. It seems it's only fit for those that don't work.

    The Dr was excellent and provided a comprehensive review of my condition and explained the future treatment. Very happy to explain everything so I understood and was clear about what was being said to me. Showed patience and understanding.

    Following my request for a specific vaccine, within a few hours I was able to book an appointment to have it. The options for the appointment were plentiful and included 2 for the following day. I can't imagine I could get a better service anywhere else. The nurse who gave me the jab was very pleasant and reassuring. Thank you yet again for great healthcare.
