    I had my first in person Social Prescriber appointment, as in the pandemic these were over the phone. Seeing someone in person made an even bigger difference. I was very anxious as I had had a number of difficult situations I was struggling to know what to do about. I received very relevant information which has helped massively since the appointment with these difficulties. I was also connected to brilliant opportunities in the community to continue my recovery and receive support I couldn’t otherwise afford financially. I was also given space to express myself fully, share my fears and worries and felt heard listened to with depth, empathy and sensitivity. I was also able to share about a fathers project I have been involved in; so that other fathers could benefit from it, so I felt that I could pay forward some of the support I had received and felt useful which was good for my self esteem. I left the appointment feeling lighter, less anxious and better able to face the difficulties that I have been experiencing. I am extremely grateful in appreciation and have huge respect for the service and the professionalism of all involved especially our social prescriber. Many Thanks

    Just a misunderstanding really. I thought I had made a face to face appointment to discuss my HRT. Get checked etc. turns out it was a health care assistant who only wanted weight and BP. So I didn’t get my queries answered. I now have to make another appointment with a GP.

    I am 76 years old with problems of hip pain My visit was very helpful and given correct direction to overcome my problems. I was referred to specialist medical hospital and given treatment in time. Also given support for post operation, now I am receiving with help of physiotherapist and hopefully would be back on my normal rutinge in couple of months.

    I was very disappointed when I was discharged from hospital after my hip surgery. The copy of discharge letter was sent to GP surgery but post operation action were not taken until I complained several time. Dressing was changed after two weeks instead next week. Home care is still not available after several requests. I would appreciate if postoperation action were done timely. It is very vital for recovery if action were taken place the way it should be. Yes after talking to surgery manager things were tahen place. But would have appreciate if it was done timely. Thank you

    GP I have seen was the worst Gp ever. Extremely rude and he doesn’t have any manners at all. Gp didn’t listen to my health problems nor let me talk appointment last less than 4 mins and he said twice I needs leave now his next patient is waiting and if I don’t leave his patient will shoutout to him this is unacceptable and kinda abusive from a Gp. I wax about to make a formal complaint to the practice manager and to the parliamentary health and ombudsman. You must remove this Gp from your practice!
