    What could have been a stressful experience - an ECG was made a stress- free one because of the professional and amiable approach from the nurse. I was also seen on time. Thank you.

    I just call the surgery and in fact it happens all the time except for one nice receptionist. I asked for my test result and the lady replied: what are you talking about? She was rude from the start with a very harsh tone of voice.Every time I call I get that kind of cold harsh reply. They need to soften a bit.They need to show they care.You can hear if somebody is smiling on the phone but you can also hear rudeness in a tone and it's very easy to pick up.Please ask them to be a bit nicer when they answer the phone. There is no need for that. I wasn't rude so I don't understand. I 'm always dreading calling the surgery because I know I'm going to face free rudeness for no reason.I have enough of that kind of behaviour.Please do something. Retrain your staff and teach them to be kind again.Thank you.

    Firstly, getting an appointment to see a GP is consistently an arduous challenge, making it an incredibly stressful experience. The process involves incessantly calling from 8:00 am onwards, enduring what feels like an eternity on hold. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of actually securing a GP appointment. Although there is an online booking option, it is not the most straightforward process. I encourage you to attempt to book an appointment yourself. Secondly, the staff at the practice exhibit an astonishing lack of friendliness. Their demeanour suggests that they view their assistance as a favour rather than an essential service. I often ponder how the practice managed to recruit individuals ill-suited for customer service. While there might be the occasional friendly person, the majority are simply rude. They exude a perpetual sense of grumpiness and appear to be harbouring resentment towards the world around them. Thirdly, during my visit to the practice a few months ago to request a prescription recommended by a consultant at the Croydon University Hospital, the reception staff adamantly refused to approve it due to an alleged "anomaly." Astonishingly, they did not make any effort to contact the consultant or the hospital to verify the situation. Upon contacting the consultant myself, he chose an "interesting" word to describe the staff's level of competence. His assessment proved accurate. It is truly remarkable that, at times, robots exhibit more intelligence than certain individuals working at the practice.

    I have been with the practice for over 30 years and on the whole I've no complaints. Phoning in the morning is a nightmare, the same as most practices. However, I have found using the NHS app you can contact by email to ask a question etc, and receive a quick response, getting an appointment if necessary. Repeat prescriptions are quick and easy to do.

    Rang at 8 am 3 days in a row after getting through 2 queues no appointments left in the end had to ring 111 got a gp hub appointment then sent to a and e to have blood tests and chest xray done had a chest infection and was given antibiotics if I could have got an appointment earlier would not have to go through all of that.
