I was at the Hub Somerstown so didnt recognise the heading of Cosham Park Surgery. Went for a blood test. Very friendly, efficient staff.

I had an appointment with the physiotherapist and he was very good.he told me exactly what the problem was and recommended a few things to improve it.

Again today after my appointment told to go to reception and book 2 appointments and ask about a form to be verified,told I would have to pat £25 to have the form looked at ,and could not book appointments and to go home and call in,I returned home and eventually got through I booked a memory test but they could not find out who to book a lung function test with so nothing was done, all I do is followed your instructions and it gets messed up, would love to sit down with a Dr who knows my case and get clarification on my medical conditions, this surgery used to be great but now I'm sorry to say the manage ment is a shambles ,if your lucky to see a Dr or nurse they are great but when told to rebbok an appointment in 2 weeks reception turn you away, what is going on,,,

Thank you for feedback. During your consultation if a follow-up appointment is required they will advise you to make those appointments, some are bookable at reception but most of the time you will need to telephone to arrange. If the care coordinator cannot locate who to appoint you with, usually they will take your details, find out and come back to you, so I am sorry if this was offered. Any non NHS work is not a priority and has a charge attached for completion, you can find a list of these charges on our website. It is well publicised that the all areas of health care is under immense pressure and we are not immune to this. We offer appointments a week in advance, therefore if the clinician advises an appointment is needed in two weeks, you will be signposted to call a week prior.

I could not fault this practise for care and friendliness always feel i have been treated well and i am lucky to be a patient in this practise from the receptionist on to doctors and nurses health carers you are treated wonderfully

I was a bit disappointed as my appointment for a blood test was ten to two.I was told when I got there it was a fasting one and I hadn't beeno told.I was a bit annoyed as fasting ones should be given in the morning I thought .Apart from that the staff are very kind and helpful and booked me another appoin tment straight away.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you were not informed your blood test was a fasting one upon booking. We do tend to offer fasting appointments in the morning. However we are, of course, guided by the patient and their work / lifestyle patterns as to when it would be convenient for them. We are pleased to hear that you were rebooked easily and will pass this feedback on to the team, to ensure patients are clearly informed if a blood test requires fasting.

The appointment was on time and I was treated with courtesy and informed as to what was going on. However the appointment making process this time and on previous occasions is a complete pain with both my wife and I wasting time and effort trying to get appointments only to find that minutes after appointments have been released they are all booked. As for Econsult which is supposed to be active from 1830 to 2400 hrs it closes down after about 5 to 10 minutes.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel the appointment process is time consuming. Appointments do book very quickly, therefore it is important you contact at the relevant advertised times. To clarify eConsults do open at 6.30pm, however once they reach capacity they do close, to ensure that we can complete them within a safe timescale.

Most recently have seen 2 nurse practitioners, very easy to talk to, diagnosis and prescription given both times for the same stubborn infection.

Excellent discussion with doctor prescribed various scripts however looking at the side effects of what I was required to take the outlook is that I will have several complications far greater than what the treatment will address and I have decided to continue with the pain sooner than experience the after effects of the remedy prescribed
