I have received phone calls from the GP. But not had a face to face appointment for over 3 years. I have concerns I need to discuss but think what is the point I may as well buy medication from the supermarket.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to post this review. I am sorry that you are unhappy with the level of service you have received over the last three year. I can confirm that we have never stopped face to face appointments, even during the covid pandemic. However, we have adapted to work smarter, and where possible we offer appointments that are suitable to the patients medical circumstances and needs. For example, if a patient requires an examination then they will of course be offered a face to face appointment straight away, but if the they need to discuss medical concerns then this would be initially booked in as a telephone consultation. This frees up face to face appointments for those patients that require to be seen. We are however constantly monitoring and reviewing the appointment system against the patient demand and have just changed this to reflect the demand for more face to face appointments. My daughter was offered a same day appointment, after a telephone call, requesting antibiotics - following an appointment at a Gateway centre. The GP was very helpful & after examining my daughter, explained her findings. We were given a prescription. I cannot fault the service we received.

The Practice has been very helpful and has always gone that extra mile with myself Helping me through a very challenging and difficult last 2 years of my life. Staff always polite, never had any issues & i’ve always felt listened to and looked after here. I have been with this doctors all my life - i’m 29 now and now my daughter is too, never fail to get an appointment and reception staff are always friendly.
