Spoke to a doctor who was very helpful and listened to my concerns. Medication reviewed and updated. This is the second time I have requested to speak to the same doctor which was actioned by the receptionist after an initial telephone call to re confirm by request

The doctor was kind and helpful. He heard about my health concerns and my opinion about what I expected from him. He informed me about my options and discussed how he would proceed.

Seen on time, plenty of explanation and further action, helpful receptionists. Easy to contact and doctors response where needed was faster than anticipated. Practice nurses very good and helpful with advice

The nurse was friendly, courteous and helpful. The sign-in screen surprised me by chastising me for signing in five minutes early - a slightly unpleasant experience! The rolling waiting room display also reinforced this rather negative message, telling me that if I abused the members of the team I would be asked to go elsewhere. Someone in the management team is keen to give out a negative welcome. This is not reflected in the overall ethos of the practice.

Dear Philip, Many thanks for taking the time to post this review about the practice. It is good to hear that you had a great experience whilst dealing with the practice. In regards to the messages about zero tolerance, this is required as the staff receive abuse on a daily basis. You may not have witnessed this on the day of your visit and yes the staff are very friendly and welcoming to everyone, but we do have a small minority of patients that do abuse the staff, hence why this message is displayed. In regards to the check-in machine, I will have a look at this to see what message is displayed when patients arrive late. We do have a lateness policy that all staff follow if they arrive more than 10 minutes late. Kind regards Clare Richardson Practice Manager

Nurse had phoned in sick. I was already arriving at the surgery when l was telephoned to advise me. Despite this they arranged for the practice nurse to see me and undertake the blood tests l was due to have at short notice.
