    After moving from Thanet this surgery couldn’t have been better. Seen promptly by a lovely dr. The reception staff were helpful and polite. Got an appointment an hour after calling. Would highly recommend

    I phoned at 08.30 . Got call back within 30 minutes. Appointment with nurse same day. Nurse made urgent appointment with Doctor, within the hour. Had full review and New medicine. Great service.

    In all the time myself and my daughter have been registered with this practice, we have always been treated with compassion and care. Whenever I've called the practice, I am greeted with friendly and very helpful staff who are super quick to find the best possible solution to support my needs or concerns. Appointments have always been timely booked and the care and compassion I've then received by the doctors and nurses in the practice have always been to a very high standard. I cannot recommend this practice enough! Thank you to all the fantastic staff, praise and credit to you all.

    Getting a real appointment was very frustrating. Initially I opted for a callback, rather than waiting in a queue. My phone never rang, but somehow I missed the call. After intervening, I just received a text with a helpline number! No callback from the practice, so I called to complain. I was told to call back the following day. Day two I tried again and was told I’d already been sent details, to which I explained was a poor response and little concern or understanding of the problem I wanted to resolve. I’d had no real conversation with a medically trained personnel to explain this. This was apparently just following protocol. Through persistence I was put on a callback, however that took six hours, despite calling at 08:30 in the morning. I was given an appointment 1-hour later and the doctor was very understanding and empathetic. After the appointment, the promised links were sent to my phone, along with a follow up appointment date/time. The treatment my the doctor was excellent.

However, I also wish to address the concerns you raised regarding the process of securing your appointment. After a thorough review of your experience, including listening to the six phone calls you had with the surgery, it is clear that the service provided did not meet our usual high standards. I sincerely apologise for the frustration and inconvenience this caused. The incident of being sent a text message without a prior clinician's triage is particularly concerning and falls short of the quality care we strive to offer.     Asked to make appointment for BP and Pre Diabetes check Informed receptionist that I work away from Home Mon to Fri.Told no Saturday appointments available,yet other practices offer Saturday appointments.This practice need to realise that many working people simply cannot attend weekday appointments owing to work commitments.This Practice should amend its opening times to reflect this trend.About time Bridge Medical Centre woke up and provide a Saturday Service.

    Dear Mr. Gore, I am truly sorry to read about the concerns you have raised on the NHS England website regarding the difficulty you faced in securing an appointment at Bridge Medical Centre. I appreciate the time you took to share your experience, and I have personally reviewed the recording of your phone call made on 23rd October 2023 at 11:03 AM. I understand that you sought an appointment for a blood pressure check and a blood test specifically on 30th-31st October, as those are your days off. While we were able to offer an appointment for a blood pressure check on one of those days, I acknowledge that we could not accommodate a blood test on the same day. I understand that your work commitments from Monday to Friday make it challenging for you to attend weekday appointments. I would like to clarify that these investigations can be scheduled in the coming weeks. I encourage you to contact the surgery, as we release new weekend appointments every week. For instance, I can confirm that there are available slots for both a blood test and a blood pressure check with a nurse on 4th November. Bridge Medical Centre collaborates with Langley Corner Surgery, Southgate Medical Group, and Leacroft Medical Practice to offer evening and weekend appointments. This service was designed in response to patient feedback and aims to meet the needs of our community, including those who work weekdays and find it inconvenient to visit the surgery between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM. I understand that you may require some flexibility when booking non-urgent appointments, given that we serve a large patient list of 11,500 individuals. We offer a variety of appointment types, both urgent and non-urgent, to cater to the diverse needs of our patients. If you wish to discuss this matter further, I am available for a phone conversation or a face-to-face meeting at your earliest convenience.     When you get through to the medical staff they're great unfortunately getting through to them is virtually impossible. I am currently waiting for callbacks from 6 separate attempts to contact them in the last 2 months including today when an 8:30 callback request has gone unanswered and I have now been dropped from their callback list.

    On NHS England is saying they are accepting new patients, but when I went there they said not. I was given a wrong telephone number to call Allocation Team, I decided to call different GP and they gave me the write number. It's very said the way recepcionist doesn't care about others.

    I am currently pregnant and having issues with iron supplements. I called to book an appointment with the GP, was quizzed by the receptionist and went through all the symptoms I have been having, she said the doctor will call you, I went to then ask something else and she hung up the phone. I have only had a pleasant experience since registering with the practice and found this quite rude as I had a further question to ask. I think it might be worth before hanging up without saying goodbye to say “is there anything else I can help you with today”. I work for the NHS and understand that everyone is busy and phone lines are difficult but now this will generate yet another call so more work for your staff.

    Called the GP they never called me back. Even though I said it was really important. Ended up at AE and admitted to hospital. They never called me back. I'm still in hospital and just got a text saying can we ring you? If you get a chance with a better GP practise take it..... They are the worst. Stay clear
