    1. I found it well nigh impossible to sort out and use the econsult system despite being of reasoning intelligence. 2. On Thursday 27th October I was prescribed an antibiotic for a urine infection. Despite explaining to the Doctor that I needed it to go to boots Chemist on the Ridgeway and the Doctor agreeing to rhus it was sent to Pharmacy 2 up country and I still don't have utility now on Monday 39th October. It was marked as urgent. Ringing around did not help so here I remain waiting and hurting. This is not satisfactory.

    I couldn’t get up for my flu injection, due to just coming out of hospital. The next day a nurse came up and gave it to me , which I thought was very efficient.

    I saw a 4th year trainee junior doctor. She was extremely thorough in answering my questions and also asking me questions..I felt at ease with her she will make a lovely GP one day. After our discussion my own GP came in. We had never met before only by talking over the phone, when I always thought I hadn't achieved anything! I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome and decision to try me on certain medication for one month, but to ring him after 3 weeks to give him my results if it was working.i felt I had been listened to.

    The doctor was very helpful - no complaints on that score - but I had to wait to wait a week and a half from submitting my initial e-consult to get to speak to them, and then stay in all day waiting for their phone call as personal medical calls are not ones you want to be having in public. I then had to start the whole process again to arrange a follow-up phone appointment.

    Because I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my back, arms, and legs for over a year now. Though I am on pain killers, these no longer are elevating the continuous pain. I sort a review with my GP to discuss the situation. I was booked in for a phone call from my GP. After 10 days I had my call on a Friday afternoon. After during my conversation with my Gp. It was deemed necessary for me to have a face to face and a check up. I saw my GP just over an hour after the phone conversation. I have been recommended an alternative pain killer to try. The details of the new medication were sent over to the pharmacy. And I collected them a couple of hours later before they closed. The GP also advised that I would need a further investigation of my problem, so I have been placed on a list for to take place with a panel of consultants in this field. to ascertain where the root of the problem is? I’m now anticipating a date in the near future, so keeping my fingers crossed they will have the solution so my continued pain will be lessened or eliminated Many thanks to the doctor and the Beacon Medical Group for their concern and their efforts to help me.     The process of actually getting to see a GP in the first instance us very long winded. Having to complete e-consultations, then waiting for a call back can often take some time, then it may mean having to wait for an actual face to face appointment.

    Trying to get through on the phone is very frustrating as you cannot it seems bypass the monotonous pre recorded message repeating "your call is important to us" really? Always around 20 minutes plus wait usually starts off around 10 in the queue for about 5 minutes of more then you go to 9 etc etc but always at least 20 minutes never has it been answered in my experiences before. Nice helpfull friendly receptionist when you get through and my doctor is brilliant. All ruined by a terrible phone system. I'd sooner it be engaged and keep trying instead of stuck in a queue listening to a annoying message. I actually stayed in the phone queue the other day and drive down and just went to the desk, that particular receptionist though seemed annoyed that she had to stop chatting to the people in the back room, not the usual friendly smiling face. All in all a good service when you get through.

    I found all staff polite and friendly.They are profeional and very helpful, cearing people. The doctor's do not hesitate to refer you to a specialist for further test if necessary.
