Review titled Very poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Grg - Posted on 14 March 2024
i called the gp since 8am to book appointment for urgent care. the waiting time on the call was 11mins and it got extended. called back again during afternoon the line was messed up (waiting time kept extending). i had to call 111 to get advice because of the poor service from the gp. i called gp again at 17:30 due to me being unable to take myself to a&e the women in the reception rakha she was not helpful at all. She was like hmmm ok just take yourself to a&e when i am unable to do soo. She goes we are fully booked it’s the end of the day. i do not recommend this gp at all they are just there for the name not for helping or serving patients.

I’ve been requesting my repeat prescription for a few months and today, after dropping an email to my GP based in Hounslow (Bath Road Surgery) a kind gentleman reached me over the phone to let me know that my prescription is being dealt with and it will be ready for collection tomorrow. He was so prompt with his answer and he had awesome customer service skills. I was extremely satisfied with his service! It’s a pleasure to end my day like that! Thank you for all the hard work and dedication that your staff displays!

Review titled Great practice

Last year, I suffered from weight loss and sleepless nights. After a blood test, it was revealed that I had thyroid issues. Bath Road Surgery, analyzed the blood test and started my medication. It's been almost a year, and my weight has recovered from 58 kg to 72 kg with no problems sleeping at night. My latest blood test shows everything is normal. I also have a needle phobia, and the nurses at Bath Road Surgery always made me comfortable, even using baby needles to extract blood for tests :) I couldn't be happier, and I would recommend Bath Road Surgery to everyone for their helpful and considerate GPs and nurses.

Review titled Better off going to A&E
Rated 1 star out of 5

I called this morning just after 9am feeling unwell, I explained my symptoms and was advised a pharmacist from a pharmacy was going to call me for a telephone appointment. I received my telephone appointment at 11:15am and was told I was going to be prescribed antibiotics and that my GP practice should action this latest by tomorrow, however it shouldn't take as long as that. At 17:30 I checked if my prescription was at my local pharmacy, and I was advised it was not there. I then rang the GP practice who informed me that the pharmacist had not sent my prescription for my medication. I then rang the pharmacist who confirmed he had sent the request and was sending it again. I then rang my GP surgery where the receptionist put me on hold only to come back and say the request is with the clinical team. It is now 19:58 and my local chemist is closed. Moral of the story, go to A&E and don't rely on Bath Road Surgery to do their job. How they are allowed to take on more patients amazes me when they can't cope with the ones they already have. No one wants to be sick. Having to deal with the rudeness and sarcasm from the reception team just shows how unprofessional this practice is. Respectfully, there's a few that should be sacked because they're adding to Bath Road Surgery's bad reputation (just have a read of the reviews). We pay into the system to recieve care when its needed, but we are simply not getting it. No face to face appointments, only phone appointments where no one is communicating with one another. The GP, the pharmacist from god knows where and the local chemist where your medication is to be sent..ultimately it comes down to Bath Road Surgery. Couldn't give me an appointment, arranged one on behalf of myself from elsewhere and then can't action a prescription from 11:30am to 19:00pm. It can't be that hard, or can it??

I didn’t catch her name but the doctor who took my smear test today was calming, informative and made the experience be as comfortable as possible (even if it isn’t all the time!) Book your smear test ladies, it could save your life!

I was being treated for a wound sustained from a fall. It took over three months of care by the HCA of dressing the wound regularly on a weekly basis. The HCA was through and extremely diligent, reassuring , patient and answered all questions clearly and completely. During the treatment, there were signs of complications. They immediately had me reviewed at the Orthopaedic department at West Middx Hospital hence avoiding further damage and issues. Overall very good experience and highly recommended. Caring, diligent and thorough while being understanding, reassuring and empathetic

Review titled Poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5

Got sent a link to book appointment which I did attended on the day, sat there 45 minutes after appointment time and they spoke to receptionist, they told me my appointment for a smear test was with the administration team, advised them that this was incorrect and not possible, she then had to arrange a new appointment for me which meant I was at the surgery for a test that makes me nervous and anxious for over 2 hours. Now trying to get a prescription which I need as soon as possible and told that I can’t speak to someone for over a week, have put a request on answered all questions got told I had to do it again. The service is going down hill, having to give more information that’s should be necessary for an appointment, unable to get important medication when it’s needed.

I was previously with first care practice in Hounslow and was treated very badly, I’ve since moved to bath road clinic and have had all my need met as a patient there. My mental health has improved with their help, they check up on me as I’m high risk suicide. Helping me with my eating disorder. I feel very content going there and speaking with the clinicians and Drs! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bath road clinic they have helped me massively.
