I am usually very nervous and anxious about going to the dentist but not anymore the dentist at Abby dental service is very professional and easily put my mind to ease. He talks me through the process and informed him any pain to put my left hand up I didn't have to it was pain free

I needed to be referred to a specialist dentist and this was organised very efficiently. The dentist I saw at Abbey Dental was kind and considerate.

I visited the dentist for a check up on the health of my teeth. I was advised of the dentists findings and recommendations once she had examined my teeth and asked to book another appointment for 6 months time so that she can continue to monitor the health of my teeth. I will follow the dentists recommendations. I was happy with the service and treatment I received at my appointment.

I saw the hygienist for a standard scale and polish. I was seen fairly promptly, the service I received was very good and I was given some very good tips to improve my oral hygiene routine. My dentist is at another practice but this hygienist is much better and costs considerably less.

I arrived an hour early for my booked appointment. The receptionist was very nice and said she would see if there was anything she could do. She was able to offer me an earlier slot, due to a cancellation, so I was able to see the dentist almost immediate. I also wanted to make an appointment to see the hygienist and after checking the bookings, I was offered an appointment that same day. Both the dentist and the hygienist were very friendly and welcoming when I went in to see them. They both remembered my last appointments and they were able to comment on how my oral health compared to my last visit. It made me feel that I wasn’t just a number but an individual.

Staff at reception are were very friendly and helpful. I noticed this at the time of booking appointments for myself and my family and when I had to cancel and reschedule as a result of illness, as well as on the day of the appointments when we checked-in. The dentist was also very friendly and professional and explained my treatment, made recommendations for further treatment, explained if there were any additional costs for the treatment and what those would be and then let me make the decision without any pressure. The check-in process is orderly, you can do it online or in person.

I visited the practice for a check-up with the dentist after a 3-year gap due to the Covid pandemic. I am a very nervous patient and I was delighted with how the dentist listened to all my concerns and performed a very thorough check-up, taking the time needed. Very impressed.

I kept getting texts from Abbey Dental saying my next dentist examination is due. I booked it a few weeks later, attended and had to wait 30 mins from my appt time to be seen. I go in and lie down, the dentist checks my teeth for around 30 secs, I had the impression he would at least do some cleaning. He said you have to pay £70 for a deep clean, and said you are done. A waste of time really.

Had a session with the Hygienist followed by a regular check up. All organised and executed to plan with very little waiting around in between. Regular reminders in the lead up to the appointment. Friendly and efficient staff.

Thanks to Abbey Dental for the excellent service and care you gave me recently. The Reception Team were efficient, friendly and most helpful throughout my appointments and the treatment I received (which was long overdue since before the lockdown period) from my Dentist and kind Nurse was, as always, outstanding in all regards; always patiently listening to my somewhat nervous concerns about the molar work required, and thoroughly explaining the best reconstruction option and course of treatment and taking great care and skilled precision in the work carried out.
