Nice clean practice and surprisingly punctual with appointment times. Reception staff were professional if a bit aloof, could do with being more welcoming to patients. Dentist was very professional and thorough.

I arrived at 4.30pm for a 5pm appointment. I was seen at 4.55pm and the dentist provided an excellent review of my teeth and x rays plus an education on how to take care of my teeth with recommendations.

I was seen to on time. I was given a full hygiene clean which was thorough and efficient. The Dentist working on me was friendly and professional. She gave me all round advice on how to improve my oral hygiene.

I called up, after i received a letter saying my son was not allowed to attend future appointments due to him missing an appointment. I called in and cancelled this appointment on the day and all was ok and they said I can rebook. I have since received this letter saying he now can’t attend future appointments. I called up the practice and explained the situation. I was then talked down to and said that she would leave a note on his record. She continued to go on saying it’s human error, which I know can happen. I wanted to double check that he would be able to book another appointment. To which she rudely told me the same thing, that a note would be left on his account. This was not what I was asking as she already made me aware of this. So again I said, I just want to confirm that he can book an appointment in the future. To which, again she replied rudely saying, I’ve already repeated myself 3 times to you. To which I said you haven’t confirmed if he will be able to rebook. She then said yes I have repeatedly 3 times. Which she had not. She again rudely said so would you like to re book. After that phone call and service I was greeted with when just trying to rebook an appointment no I would not.

I visited Abbey Dental to discuss escalating my routine appointment to an emergency one. They were very understanding and able to proactively arrange an appointment for me on the same day. The clinical and non-clinical staff were all professional and communicated well. Overall a very positive experience.

I have been receiving dental treatment at this practice for two years, now. The staff are all friendly and professional and very helpful. The dentist is patient and took the time to explain treatment and the options available to me. She clearly gave information on cost and benefits vs drawbacks of the different options. There was no 'hard sell' or pressure to make a decision. The practice is busy and it can be difficult to get an appointment for a routine check-up but if you plan ahead and make the appointment early then it's not an issue. They try to accommodate my working hours and my child's school hours and they have been understanding in this regard.

Went for annual check up and found a leek in a tooth. Said that I was going on holiday next week and dentist checked and saw that they had a cancellation and fitted me in so that I don't get tooth ache when on holiday. Wonderful service from wonderful people. Many thanks!

I have never seen a hygienist at this practice before and was dreading it as my teeth are very sensitive. I was surprised and pleased to find the hygienist so kind and accommodating - they numbed my teeth with gel and removed all stains that I thought were permanent. I will be going regularly from now on.

Reminders sent. Prompt timing. Helpful, thoughtful dentist. Good advice. Painless. Recommend hygienist treatment. I was able to book this treatment at reception for the same day. This was similarly thorough, painless and done with cheery demeanour. The lady receptionist was succinct, helpful,cheery and personable. Alround a pleasant experience.

I had not been to a dentist in way too long and had been feeling pain for months. I was able to get an appointment for the day after I called. I told them I was nervous and everyone made me feel welcome and at ease. Nobody scolded me for putting off a check-up for years. My check-up (including x-rays) was cheap and the work (as far as I could tell) was thorough. Thankfully they did not find any problems, though they did let me know some optional, preventative work that could be done if I so chose. There was no pressure applied at all. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back. I can't judge the work because I'm not a dentist. But I got an appointment right away, I was put at ease, and I wasn't pressured to do more expensive work. I already made an appointment for a cleaning and got one within two weeks.
