    After an absence of 9 years, I re-attended this surgery. No reason to attend apart from a check up. 4 x-rays and an exam & all ok apart from a hygienist clean. Dentist was very calm & informative. The Hygienist is not NHS subsidised so cost £65. I can afford this but worry about others that might not.

    I’ve been calling since the morning because my mum needs a dentist immediately but I’m almost 10 on the queue when it comes to my turn, it says “we’re having a high number of calls, please try again later” but it doesn’t make sense because I’m the first on the line.

    The dentist was knowledgeable and explained what was going to be done to me. Happy with the treatment. The only down side was the frustration getting through on the phone. I was on number four and when I got to number 3 the line cut off. I did this thrice. Got through on the 4th time. They need improvement with the telephone.

    It was good overall Polite staff Improvements: The parts of the forms that need to be filled should not have a "Skip" option. I thought I filled in what I needed to but the dentist said I didn't and it was the parts that I was allowed to skip in the online form. I was not told I should be there at least 10 minutes early for my appointment (found out on one of the notices on the notice board while waiting). I still was just in time due to morning traffic so the experience with the dentist felt rushed. The full treatment pricing details were not explained beforehand or any leaflet, etc given so when the dentist was quickly going through the different treatments and costs and asking me which one I wanted it felt really confusing.

    Dear Patient, We are always looking at ways to improve our service and would like to thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We continuously strive to provide good patient care and would like to apologise if you felt rushed at your appointment. Our range of NHS and Private fees are displayed in the patient waiting room as is the NHS patient charges leaflet. Following examination patients are given all their treatment options and the fees along with a treatment plan they can take home so patients can make an informed choice about their care. The online patient portal allows patients to complete their forms ahead of their visit, however we always check any incomplete forms on arrival. The software is managed by a third party and we have no control over the skip feature.     I had an emergency appointment this morning and my tooth was in so much pain in fact severe pain there was a man who had checked my teeth and I’ve always been scared of dentists I kid you not , but they are really caring and kind people in there even the people at the front counter asked if I was okay!, you are fast to get seen, when I left I felt much relieved the numbness has gone (Bare in mind if you are scared of dentist, I recommend this dental practice they are amazing) they assure that you are safe and very well mannered people

    Very helpful staff, and a dentist who put a very nervous patient at ease from the start. Helpful and informative. The practice has a nice atmosphere about it.
