Staff were very friendly, helpful, efficient and respectful to myself as well as my carer. There was very little waiting time for the appointments. The only suggestion for improvement of experience would be knowing the dos and don'ts beforehand so that I and my carer could have been better prepared - especially for those more elderly. A handy tool for after op is a grabber stick!

From arrival to departure all of the team make you feel valued, do their best to ensure you are put at ease at every step, they work seamlessly as a team and everyone plays their part efficiently and professionally, informally and with smiles throughout. Everyone is happy to answer any questions patients have but all of the team proactively provide comprehensive information so there is little need to ask for more info - Great Job Team - thanks so much.

The medical care at Spamedical was first rate and the facilities were excellent as were the people. However I was missed off a list, and instead of being seen at 12.20, I was not seen until14.15. People who arrived 1.5 hours after me were seen before me. When I raised this, I was told “you are not on my list”. This was despite having an appointment letter and being on the register and called in. I raised the issue when I realised there was a problem and once everyone realised I had not been treated, they all became very apologetic. I was told it appears one person picked up an out of date list. To be fair, I was still dealt within the 3 hour target time. Despite this, I would still recommend Spamedical

Was the first to be seen, procedure explained to me, eye drops and hour before surgery - it was just a few minutes, no pain and after relaxing was then given daily eye drops with with plenty of sheets explaining to me what to do. Efficient and friendly staff.

Couldn’t speak highly enough about the speedy efficient service I received at Spa Medica Watford. I am delighted with my two ‘new’ eyes following cataract surgery. The whole process went without any hitches and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only exception was the rude, sullen, unhelpful, unsmiling female receptionist on the ground floor. She lets your practice down!

I did not have to wait at all long for my cataract operation and I was given very good treatment. The only disadvantage for me was the distance from central London where I live.

Wow I can’t recommend Spa Medica enough, from my first experience of getting checked along with my first and second operation. They are so supportive and give you all the information you need in written form. Each time I contacted the clinic they were extremely patient and helpful. Transport was provided if needed . The surgeons gave me confidence in their expertise. I am very pleased with my new vision and if I had any future issues would certainly want to be referred here. Thank you Spa Medica
