Pre-op I was terrified, my imagination ran riot. imagining everything possible that could {and probably would} go wrong. The surgeon and his team had patience, understanding, and were reassuring without being condescending. I can't praise them enough. I'm looking forward to having my right eye sorted. Please accept my grateful thanks.

I had my cataract operation on 25th November '22. It was the second at Spamedica Preston and, as with the first, I was treated with perfect courtesy, kindness and professionalism. The resulting improvement was great. One small issue was that I felt at risk of running out of the post operation drops and the process of getting through to someone who could provide them was laborious. Using the Spamedica centralised 'phone system is laborious at best unless you can class yourself as being in 'urgent need'.

Good experience from start to finish, from welcoming staff to medical staff. All were friendly and reassuring. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing cataract surgery.

From start to finish of my first cataract op, excellent quality and profesionalism from start to finish. Could not ask for being looked after any better by all the staff in all departments from entering to being discharged. bags of info all the way through Three days in and the results so far are astounding from my right eye op. Cant wait to have the left eye done. Excellent.

Excellent experience from start to finish involving two visits. Every member of staff from domestics to the surgeon was polite, friendly and efficient. Everything was explained and there was ample opportunity to ask questions. I have had cause to comment to others who are in the process of being treated at the Preston surgery and i have reassured them that the procedures are totally painless and the benefits substantial. From start to finish the staff were brilliant from the first telephone conversation to the Reception on the day of both my ops and the staff carrying out my Cataract procedures. They put me at ease and explained what to expect and aftercare. Preston was an exceptionally clean place, the staff were very friendly and efficient. Well done and thank you - I will be recommending you - I can now see the world a lot clearer. NHS staff could learn a lot from yourselves.

Treated for a cataract removal. Professional and caring treatment throughout. From reception an staff, through to nurses giving initial eye drops and derails of procedure, the surgeon. Then the discharge nurse, ensuring all information given. Wonderful service. Felt very well cared for and well treated in every respect.

I have just had my check up after my second operation. Can’t rate all the staff, on both visits, highly enough. Kind, considerate and helpful. I was put at my ease as soon as we pulled in the car park, greeted by a lovely cheerful polite man. Thanks for everything.

Attending for my second cataract operation I was met with the same kindness in reception as the last time. The care and attention by all staff is second to none. A very professional team from start to finish. It can be a daunting time but they are so efficient and put you at ease in the pre surgery procedures. The theatre staff were just as professional and although this second operation was a longer than the first one, all went well. Thank you to Spa Medica for allowing me to get rid of my glasses and contact lens. It is amazing to see without them.
