Was very worried re having my cataracts treated as I have a phobia about people messing with my eyes! However have just had my eye treatment completed by spa medica and very impressed with the level of care I received. Professional and efficient but also kind and caring!

Travelled to Preston as kendal was cancelled. Greeted by friendly staff and treated with care and respect. Faulty equipment meant a lengthy wait while new was ordered and delivered. Reception and nurses were very helpful, apologetic and even fed us all. I found the surgeon impatient and uncaring, maybe he was frustrated by the delay. The nurse I saw after the op was wonderful with me, caring and concerned. I had also to have a blood test as a nurse had cut herself during my op. I was in more pain than my first eye until the next morning when I used the gauze to wipe my eye and a pellet came out!!! Now day 2 and I am pain free and vision is excellent. My only complaint is the surgeons 'bedside manner' everyone was frustrated including patients, but all managed to be amenable and accepting. Lovely, friendly clinic.

Very caring staff, friendly and welcoming, professional standards of care, very clean facilities. Just had my 2nd cataract surgery, same high standard of care as the 1st time. I would highly recommend SpaMedica.

The care and attention provided by SpaMedica has been excellent. From the first assessment, to surgery to both eyes to discharge took only 5 months. The staff were very professional and thorough whilst being extremely friendly and helpful.

SpaMedica provides an good clinical set up, essential pre-op information and discussion. Experienced staff who are well able to inform and answer concerns displaying care and compassion. Good pre-op literature provided. A high standard of hygiene and every provision for any complications that may arise post op.
