I have had treatment in both eyes. At all stages I have been looked after and treated respectfully. All staff were friendly and thoughtful, from showing me to the lift to fetching me a cup of tea, to introducing themselves and explaining what was happening at each stage of the process. They were particularly thorough in making sure I was the patient and that my correct eye was operated on with the desired conclusion. I was extremely well looked after and treated respectfully.

My cataract operation was a painless experience from start to finish. Parking was easy and there were spaces close to the entrance. The members of staff were not only efficent, they were friendly, cheerful and helpful as well. Explanations were thorough, questions were answered clearly and patiently, there was constant checking to make sure there could be no possibility of error, the pre-operation preparation was faultless and the operation itself - over in about fifteen minutes - painless and professional. The take-home medicines were provided with extra documentation to record the details and a ball-point pen provided also. I was even offered a selection of biscuits. It was most impressive - thankyou very much. One minor point - the questionnaire that followed this review asked my opinion of same-sex accommodation, but there was no box to tick to say that this question was irrelevant in my case, where I was only there for two hours in the daytime; I had to tick "Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied".

On my arrival I was met by a receptionist who could not do enough to assist me, if only all the first contacts were as good as this. Then I event to assessment and once again all the staff were excellent (I don’t know all of the names) But they were all good. At the reception I was give an appointment for my operation again by a very nice lady, before I had left I had a message confirming date and time of the operation Brilliant service Norman Priest

Very efficient,clean and friendly, everything discussed with us and couldn’t have been more helpful. No long waiting list. Comfortable waiting area. This hospital was recommended to us and we would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I've had cateracts removed from both eyes this year. The whole process was quick and painless and explained to me every step of the way. The team are very professional and put me at my ease as soon as I walked through the door.

Both eyes very good. The staff are very polite and treat you with dignity and provide coffee and biscuits. Many thanks to the surgeons who performed my operations. Regards, Mary Barrow.
