Have now had two cataract surgeries here. The staff are all super, very welcoming, reassuring & professional. I had to wait 7 months for the first- no surprise in 2022 but only 3 months for the second. Excellent instruction guides, staff made sure you knew what to look for but absolutely no problems. Thank you , highly recommend

My experience with SpaMedica Gateshead was painless from start to finish. Everything was explained in full what was happening .I was looked after by a professional team .I would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone requiring eye surgery.

My first treatment caused a lot of discomfort and aching which I am still experiencing in mild form around my eye 6 weeks later. My second treatment on the 6th July was totally different. Another surgeon with a different procedure was excellent and I have had no discomfort or symptoms at all. I would thoroughly recommend my second surgeon but not the first.

Returned to Spamedica for second removal and the staff were fantastic once again the place is spotless the staff cannot do enough for you thanks to the two ladies on reception for the coffees and contacting my daughter cannot praise the practice enough

From the initial consultation throught to the actual fitting of my new lens Spamedica were consistently efficient, professional and kind. I have one quibble, the music played in the pre-op waiting area was I think Radio Two. As the majority of patiets are retired perhaps a progamme such as Classic Fm could be more appropriate. Many thanks to all.

A very satisfying experience. My husband, who accompanied me, and I were both made welcome, and looked after throughout. Everything was explained to me, and the cataract removal operation was carried out quickly, professionally, and with the minimum of fuss. I felt very pleased to be so well cared for. Well done, all the staff, and thank you for giving me much improved eyesight.
